Chapter 1: [ Never Again]

In the history of mankind earth is a beautiful planet filled with people of different culture, striving community, and developing countries.

With the help of technology the world has advanced it's development eventually creating AI's.

Everything was at peace until creatures from another world suddenly emerged from a dimensional rift and started invading our world.... Such creatures was categorized as Chaos beings.

The scientist of earth believed that these creatures came from a world identified as Chaos world in just theory and no evidence.

With the Chaos being on a rampage from different parts of the world it led to a loss of thousands of lives.... And that day onward it was called Chaos Catastrophe which signaled as a start for the Chaos war.

Eventually the government manage to push back these invaders with the help of AI's until they are all eliminated from the world but despite these victory the government still fears for it's second coming of the Chaos beings.

To counter these creatures the government around the world formed a organization that will fight these invaders and called themselves defenders.

[10 years ago (Post-chaos war)]

In a scenery and a terrain which could only be called hell a single boy that is not even 10 yrs old is walking in the street filled with broken debris with blood dripping from his forehead and eyes.

"Help me! Please! Hic! Hic!" The boy said as he cried "Mama! Papa!"

The boy was cried from the pain of his injury and a certain event he witnessed.

Suddenly he heard large footsteps coming from behind him and when he looked around he saw a Chaos being holding the bodies of his that tried to sacrifice themselves for the boy to escape.

"Mama? Papa?" The boy said

Seeing no response from his dead parents the boy couldn't handle the pain his feeling physically, mentally, and emotionally.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" The boy shouted

The boy was drowned from despair seeing both of his parents lifeless bodies and because of it he can't move his body not even a finger feeling that the monster would kill him next.

Seeing the boy in despair the chaos being grinned for the opportunity and finally made his move.

In the next moment the Chaos being vanished, the boy was startled at first but the tried to find it around him to confirm its location, then he suddenly felt a chill run from behind him.

Before even he could react the chaos being slammed his hands at the boy pinning him to the ground.

"Uhhh!" The boy groaned

The boy couldn't even do anything he could feel his muscles aching, bones breaking, body losing strength, and slowly losing consciousness he could almost sense death creeping on him.

When he thought all hope is lost the boy saw a figure jumping out from the rubble and started attacking the chaos being followed by series of gunshots from different soldiers and eventually killing the creature.

"Damnit it looks like it escaped our radar!" Said the mysterious figure "we couldn't even make it in time"

The mysterious figure the noticed that the boy was still barely alive.

"Over here! The kid is still alive! Hurry!" The mysterious figure shouted

Those were the last words the boy heard before falling to a deep slumber.

[10 years later ( city of Grandeia )]

Grandeia is an city in a man made island built for the survivors of the Chaos war

In a certain apartment a 18 years old teenager in the name of Jhin kanzaki a boy who was saved during the Post-chaos war is living there

Name: Jhin Kanzaki

Gender: Male

Nationality: Half Japanese/American

Occupation: Highschool student

Status: citizen of the city of Grandora

"*Yawn" yawned Kanzaki

Kanzaki was just getting ready to leave his apartment and attend school at Harvon Acadamy one of the public schools of the city of Grandora.

When Kanzaki was about to lock the door of his compartment a sudden headache suddenly struck him.

"Tsk! This again... Why does this always happens to me?" He murmured as he left his apartment

It only took him about thirty minute to get to his school on foot so it didn't took him long to arrive at his class and arrive for his first two sessions.( all of his classmates are either survivors or people who migrated here after the chaos war )

"Your spacing out again kanzaki- kun!" Said one of his classmates

A girl suddenly told this to him when it noticed that Kanzaki was looking at the window and started to space out.

"Hmm? Oh it's just you Green-san" said Kanzaki

"Green-san? Didn't we agree  that your going to call me by my first name already?" Asked the girl

"Ah right! Sorry it's just you know a culture difference... Sorry about that Alice-san"

"Muhh! Well nevermind as long as you remember it" said alice

Alice is one of kanzaki's classmate and the only he could call a friend. Alice came from America and only migrated here with her mother when they survived the chaos war at the cost of her father's life.

Name: Alice Green

Gender: Female

Nationality: American

Occupation: Highschool student

Status: citizen of the city of Grandora

" Well anyway aren't you gonna buy your favorite sandwich anytime now? " Asked Kanzaki

" Hmm? Why would you say that?" Asked back by Alice

"Cause at this rate and the pace your going at... You will not be able to buy it cause it will sold out" said Kanzaki as he smirked

"How can you say.... Wait don't tell me?" Alice started to shake

"Well I did tell you I have the ability to see the future right? Well it's up to you if you will believe me or not" provoked by Kanzaki

"No way!... I'll be back" said alice as she hurriedly run to the cafeteria to buy her sandwich

Kanzaki acquired the ability to see the future when his eyes got exposed to the chaos blood of the chaos being and that was the time when both of his parents were killed right before his eyes and the creature injured his eyes. The scientist that did a test on him concluded that it seems inspite him being able to see the future it looks like like his eyes has another ability that is hidden within him.

It may have been a great power to everyone else but for him it was like a curse. With his ability he could see how other people die, suffer, and betrayed by their trusted persons that may occur in the future. Even if he has the ability to see the future no one would ever believe him thinking that he's just messing with them.

The reason why Alice believe him cause she's open-minded person and she's is his best friend

"Ugh! This ability is so troublesome" murmured Kanzaki

Kanzaki left the classroom hoping that a change of scenery would ease his headache a little.

When Kanzaki arrived at the open-field of the Acadamy he felt that his mind is starting to calm down.

When he looked back at his school his eyes open wide in shock, he was seeing a future not too far from the current time.

The first floor was a wreck, many students are dead but the most shocking of all is that his friend Alice was one of them

His face suddenly wore a from expression but he continued to look at the future further and then he saw creature similar to the one that killed his parents but more like a beast type being was the culprit of all the destruction

Cause of what he saw he's knees started to weaken remembering his past trauma 10 years ago

"Why?... Why is it here?" Said Kanzaki while tearing up

He still can't forget what happen to his parents and cause of this despair it caused to huge strain on his brain

Still don't know the reason why the creature is here he endured he's headache and continued to his foresight

This time he finally found the cause of it all

It was him it was attracted by the chaos blood that is mixed in his blood resulting for the creature creating  a psuedo-rift to emerge inside the school and killing a lot of students including Alice

"So I'm the reason why their all dead" the realization struck him hard "so it was me all along... I shouldn't have survived after all and now because of me Alice will..."

Before he could even finish his words he remembered Alice she was an important person in his life

"Am I going to let it happen again? No! I must save her! She's my friend I won't let that creature to take another important person away from me" he thought to himself

He gathered up his resolve and stood up to save his friend making sure that whatever happens his friends fate would not be the same as his parents

"Never again" Kanzaki murmured to himself as he dashes to the school

Author notes:

The reason Kanzaki is having a headache Everytime he uses his ability is that he's brain can't handle sudden influx of new information in his brain.
