Chapter 10: [Knight Level]

[Testing Venue, Sub-Headquarters]

The whole venue was in a uproar cause of the system announcement

[WARNING!!! KNIGHT LEVEL ACTIVATING]

Aside from the whole crowd that are judging the pairs action, the higher-ups are excited to see what would happen in to the pair that chosen this level

Meanwhile both Kanzaki and Isabelle prepared to face the enemy

"Wawawa!!!..... What should I choose?" Cried Isabelle clearly nervous from all this attention

"Just get that staff! Your not the one facing it anyway..." Replied Kanzaki as he grabbed the photon sword

While both of them were talking, the system itself generated a knight level chaos being

"Hoh! It's here..." Said Kanzaki

"I'm so nervous right now" claimed Isabelle

"Well then calm yourself.... We can't have you make reckless choices now can we...!?" Pointed out Kanzaki

"Your right" replied Isabelle

As the whole venue quite down, the system finished generating the chaos being

What was once an empty space, now can be seen to have a black knight chaos being standing in the middle of the arena

Seeing this both Kanzaki and Isabelle positioned themselves to fight the chaos being

......

As the whole place was devoid of noise and as silent as it may be, the chaos being instantly released it's killing intent showering everyone inside the venue

"Wha... what the hell is this pressure? (Examinee 1)

"It's so heavy.... I can't breath" (Examinee 2)

"It begins" (higher-up 1)

As both Kanzaki was being showered by the killing intent, Isabelle herself stumbled a little while Kanzaki clasped his chest

"So heavy!" Muttered Isabelle struggling from the pressure

"Quick activate your ability!" Ordered Kanzaki

Receiving the order both Kanzaki and Isabelle activated their eyes

While kanzaki's eyes turned glowing blue and Mana gathered around him, Isabelle eyes turned to glowing yellow and Mana started to gather to her too

With the activation of their eyes both of them was relieved a little from the pressure of the chaos being

Seeing that both of them are gathering Mana like the chaos being their facing the whole crowd was astonished

"What... What's happening to them?" (Examinee 1)

"They both have chaos eyes? Now that is interesting!" (Higher-up 1)

"They are users!" (Host)

As the whole crowd was in a uproar both the chaos Knight and Kanzaki made their move

Author's notes:

I'll be using chaos= chaos being, level= type

Example:

Chaos knight = chaos being knight level

Chaos beast= chaos being beast level

Chaos monster= chaos being mutated beast

Chaos Titan = chaos being Titan level

As both Kanzaki and the chaos knight arrived infront of each other, the chaos knight simply dodged Kanzaki attack and headed straight for Isabelle

"Tch! So hes going first for the non-combatant ei!" Muttered Kanzaki

"No don't get near me!!!" Cried Isabelle

As she said this the chaos knight arrived infront of her and immediately it swung down it's blade

[Clang!]

But before the attack reached Isabelle Kanzaki blocked it with the photon sword

"Don't underestimate the training I've been through" declared Kanzaki as he pushed back the chaos knight

As the chaos knight regained it's footing it attacked Kanzaki again with continuous slashes but of course Kanzaki also retaliated with his own series of slashes

[Dak!,Dak!,Dak!,Dak!,Dak!,Dak!]

The sound and wind pressure was generated as both Kanzaki and the chaos knight engage at a fast exchange of swords

Meanwhile Isabelle relocated herself  and used the grenade and thrown it at the chaos knight

The chaos knight immediately noticed this and pushed back Kanzaki while intercepting the grenade with a slash

[Explosion sound!!]

Seeing that her attack has failed she shouted

"Kanzaki!!"

"I know thanks for distracting it for a bit" said Kanzaki as he thrust his photon sword forward

Sensing that these is a coordinated attack the chaos knight made his Mana thick to become a shield for him

[Peng!]

"Tsk!" Expressed Kanzaki as he noticed his attacked was blocked

Seeing the opportunity the chaos knight swung down his blade

While at the same time kanzaki used his foresight and dodged to the right

[Swoosh]

Successfully dodging the chaos knight attack, Kanzaki immediately slashed upwards

Seeing the attack the chaos knight tilted it's head and punched Kanzaki in his side

"Gah!" Cried Kanzaki upon receiving the attack

Because of the attack Kanzaki thrown aside by the chaos knight and it dashed ahead to Isabelle

"KANZAKI!!!" Shouted Isabelle as she saw Kanzaki thrown aside

As she noticed that the chaos knight approaching her she immediately used her ability to keep track of the chaos knight movement but suddenly the chaos knight vanished right before her eyes

"What? Where did he go?" Wondered Isabelle as she look around

At that moment a chill went down her spine and when she turned around he saw the knight held up his blade

"This is the end" she thought as she closed her eyes

But contrary to her expectations a wind pressure suddenly went in between her and the chaos knight

"Wha...what?" Muttered shocked Isabelle

When she looked at Kanzaki's direction he shouted

"Get away from there!"

As he said this he positioned his body to leg extending crouching position and launched himself with great force towards the chaos knight

Immediately the chaos knight itself produced multiple dark spheres in the air and launched them at Kanzaki

Seeing many projectiles coming his way.... Kanzaki quickly draws the photon sword to slice the dark spheres while using his foresight to look at the future directions that the projectiles will take

"Haaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!" Shouted Kanzaki as he intercepted the dark spheres

Slash, Slash, Block, Spinning slash, Sideway slash, Upward slash, diagonal slash, Double vertical spinning slash, Downward slash, thrust, sideway slash, slash

Then at that moment he noticed more projectiles coming his way

Dash, Stop, jump, dodge

As he did this he predicted the movements of the projectiles and intercepted them with his series of slashes

"Up, down, right, left, above, side step, dock, spin, jump, side tilt" he muttered as he reads the projectiles movements

Seeing his projectiles not hitting Kanzaki the chaos knight dashed to him as he sensed that Kanzaki is the biggest threat among the two

As the chaos knight approached Kanzaki it immediately slashed sideways his blade

Foresaw this.... kanzaki quickly bends his back backwards and slides to the floor dodging the attack

After that Kanzaki hastily get up from his feet and thrust the photon sword to the chaos knight

[Clang!]

Hearing this Kanzaki knew that the chaos knight manage to block his attack

"Tsk!" He clicked

After that Kanzaki quickly did a series of slashes at the chaos knight

Slash, Slash, Slash, Slash

While the chaos knight countered with his own attack

Thrust, Downward slash, Sideway slash, spinning kick

Upon seeing the kick, Kanzaki quickly crouched down to dodge it and he followed it with upward slash

[Clang!]

After that both of them slashed at the same time making their sword lock each other down

[Kzz!...kzzzzz!...kzz!]

Sparks were generated as the two swords brushes each other

At that moment the chaos knight opened his palm and a dark sphere was generated there and it aimed at Kanzaki face

Immediately dodge it by tilting his head sideways

After that Kanzaki put most of his strength on his hand and pushed back the chaos knight

As kanzaki distanced himself with the chaos knight, the crowd begun to make comments and noises

"What! What just happened?" (Examinee 1)

"I don't know! Everything went by so fast.... I didn't catch any of it" (Examinee 2)

"Amazing! That guy is Amazing!!!" (Examinee 3)

"I can't believe what I'm seeing.... Someone is actually playing on equal grounds with a chaos knight..... Only the top fighters are capable to contend with those beings" (Host)

"That guy where did he come from? Immediately investigate him" (Sponsor 1)

"That kid has some crazy moves... Did you see what he just did?" (Organizer 1)

"Well of course and it was crazy!" (Organizer 2)

"Looks like he have an amazing ability!" (Higher-up 1)

"That kid is interesting!" (Higher-up 2)

As the crowd was making their own comment, the battle inside the arena begin again

As kanzaki and the chaos knight glared at each other, Kanzaki slashed down his photon sword while the chaos knight slashed sideways it's blade

[Clang!]

After that exchange they continued to assault each other up

[Clang!]

[Clang!]

[Cling!]

[Clang!]

[Cling!]

[Cling!]

[Clang!]

Sounds vibrated in the arena as the two swords collides

In the next moment the chaos knight hammered his sword down

[Crash!]

But Kanzaki manage to dodge it and slashed the chaos knight helmet

[Swing!!!]

With that attack the chaos knight was taken aback and stepped a few blocks backwards

"He hit him.... He hit him..... HE HIT HIM!!!!" (Examinee 1)

"WHOOOOOAAAAAAAA!!!!!!" Cheered the crowd

The crowd goes wild as Kanzaki manage to land a hit against the chaos knight

While the chaos knight was still taken aback by the attack, Kanzaki positioned himself in a dashing position and closed his eyes

"*Breaths in*"

The moment Kanzaki breaths in he opened his eyes and dashed at the chaos knight

The chaos knight tried o intercept it by releasing his intimidation and swinging diagonally it's blade

"Gaaaaahhhhhh!" Shouted Chaos knight angrily

When Kanzaki got close to it he immediately altered the chaos knights blades trajectory making it miss

[Crash!!]

At that opening Kanzaki quickly imbued the photon sword with his Mana making it easier for the sword to penetrate through the chaos knight armor

At the next moment the chaos knight

Dropped to it's knees and disintegrated as it is just a program

[WINNER PAIR NO.10]

As the system announced this.... The whole crowd went wild

"AMAZING!!!" (Examinee 1)

"That was the best fight I've seen so far" (Examinee 2)

"Congratulations!" (Examinee 3)

"Hey can I get your number?" (Examinee 4)

"Are you single?" (Examinee 5)

As the crowd cheered for the pair the other people, host, organizer, employees, sponsors, higher-ups congratulated him by clapping their hands

Of course since they defeated the knight level it will be expected that Kanzaki and Isabelle will have a high rating

"Hey! We won!... Told you we will get the highest rating" said Kanzaki

"Actually only you deserve it.... I don't even helped you fight it..." said Isabelle weakly

"Yes you did help me..... While I was engaged against the chaos knight you provided me with information of when he suddenly change his status and attributes via comms..... And because of that if I combined it with my foresight we could have a higher chance of victory.... You did great in supporting me" encouraged Kanzaki

As she heard that Isabelle brighten up an said

"Fine! Fine! You win..... Let's just rest for a bit over there okay!" she while smiling

"Sure! Sure!" Replied Kanzaki

After that time passed until the last pair finished their match

"This time we will have a match between 2 random pairs" said the host

As he said that he announced the pairs number

"Pair No. 21 vs Pair No. 10"

As the host said that the whole venue went silent because the first match included the highlight Pair No. 10

After a few seconds one of the guy in Pair No. 21 raised his hands and said

"Us pair will forfeit this match!" Said the Examinee

Of course no one can blame him if he forfeited a match against the pair that achieved greater than the others in the last match

"Well I can't be helped" (Examinee 1)

"Hahaha! Even I would have forfeit if that was my opponent" (Examinee 2)

"True! True!" (Examinee 3)

"Well then since you forfeited this match the score will go to Pair No. 10" announced the host

This was followed a series of cheers

"Eh?" Muttered Kanzaki

"Looks like they're afraid of fighting you hehehe!" Said Isabelle

"What! Why? I'm not that strong!!!" Reject Kanzaki

"No! No! After what you accomplished last battle I presume that everybody wants to avoid fighting you" explained Isabelle

"No way down that mean I'll have an easy win in the third match too?..... I don't want that!!!" Cried Kanzaki

"Well we will find a way" said Isabelle as she comforted Kanzaki

But little did Kanzaki know that someone was looking at him while muttering

"Looks like another Chaos Eyes User the next match will be fun"

Because of his three months of fighting Ryuuji..... Somehow Kanzaki became a lot more confident in his ability and a lot more experienced in fighting

People do change a lot after few months...
