Chapter 11: [Welcome to Chaos Breakers]

[Testing Venue, Sub-Headquarters]

As time pass by, the second test finished without any incident or accident occuring

At one of the corner of the whole audience Kanzaki was sitting there paying close attention to all the pairs that have won their match

"Uhhhhhhh! They're so lucky they got to fight" muttered Kanzaki

"Oh don't be like that... At least we got to pass without any problem" reasoned Isabelle

"But still....." Pondered Kanzaki

"Don't worry the third match will start right about now" comforted Isabelle

"Attention! As of now the second match line up is done.... Now we're going to proceed to the last step of the practical test" said the host

"And that is the ranking match!!!"

"If a pair who lost the first match and the second match won the third match they will have a 50-50 chance of being accepted by the organization.... So you guys better duke it out in this battle!!!" Added the host

As it said this the whole crowd became even more determined to win the third match

"As for starters we will start with the lowest rating pair against the other lowest rating pair" he said

After he said this he begin to choose different pairs for the match up

"Hey since we have the highest rating shouldn't we be the last to fight team?" Kanzaki asks

"Seems like it.... But we can't afford to be overconfident after all were up against the pair who is second to us" answered Isabelle

"Your right.... By the way who's the second place pair" asks Kanzaki

"Well in the rating board it says Pair No. 3" replied Isabelle

"Pair No. 3 right?!... Well let's start our meeting" said Kanzaki

"Meeting?" Asks Isabelle

"Yes!!! After all we might need a backup plan on top of a backup plan" answered Kanzaki

"That's a lot of backup plan for just one pair" reasoned Isabelle

"Well the multiple backup is for when we're going to fight a person similar to us" explained Kanzaki

"Same as us?.....don't tell me" said Isabelle as she realized something

"Yes! A Chaos Eye User" answered Kanzaki

As the two of them commence their pair meeting time inside the venue passed by like an instant

[1 hour later]

It's been an hour already and the second to the last match finally ending with the pair with 2 wins and 1 loss won the match

"As for our last match Pair No. 3 vs Pair No. 10"

As the host announced this the whole crowd became rowdy again despite their fatigue

"Oooohhhh! A match between top 1 vs  top 2" (Examinee 1)

"It more like a match between a pair that defeated a titan level against a pair that defeated a knight level" (Examinee 2)

"This fight will be epic I just know it!" (Examinee 3)

As the crowd were discussing various matters both pairs entered the arena

"Hey! Let's introduce ourselves my name is Richard and this is Mike and we are Filipino survivors,.... I myself is a chaos eye user my ability is called lightning I presume you already know what it means right?" Asks Richard

"While Mike here is my supporter and he's not a user.... But I. My observations both of you are Chaos Eyes User am I right?" He added

Upon hearing the word Chaos Eye User the audience wondered what it means

"Chaos Eyes User? Is that some kind of occupation?" (Examinee 1)

"I don't know! Never heard of it!" (Examinee 3)

Seeing that the opponent introduce themselves both Kanzaki and Isabelle introduced each other

"Well my name is Kanzaki and this here is Isabelle my supporter and yes we are Chaos Eye User" replied Kanzaki

"My ability is foresight... So that means I can see the future" said Kanzaki not putting his guard down

"While my ability is appraisal and with it I can see the status of the people that I want to look at..." Said Isabelle also not putting her guard down

Seeing that both Kanzaki and Isabelle putting their guards up,.... Richard chuckled

"That's it..... That's it..... Both of you are chaos eye user so no wonder you cooperate well each other" he said

"Show me just how strong you guys are" he added

As the system countdowns the signal, the whole place became silent anticipating what events may concur in this match

The spectators were watching, the organizers were surveying, the higher-ups were observing, all anticipating the results of these match up

5.....4.....

"Isabelle stand back and keep me updated to his status through comms and watch out for that other guy" warned Kanzaki

"Umu" replied Isabelle

"Mike do as you usually do" said Richard

"Sure thing" replied Mike

3.....2...1

[Pure silence]

All chaos eyes user activated their eyes..... Glowing blue for Kanzaki, glowing yellow for Isabelle, and glowing light blue for Richard

START!!!

the moment the system announced the signal Kanzaki bolted straight to Richard welding a Photon sword in his hand

"Hehehe! Come at me!" Shouted Richard

At the same moment Richard stomped the ground and his Mana transformed to Sparks of lightning surrounding his body

"Hyaaa!" Cried Kanzaki as he swung sideways his photon sword

In counter to this Richard pushed the pavement beneath him and a huge Boulder blocked kanzaki's attack

Crash...

As the boulder was smashed Richard electrocuted kanzaki, launching him like a cannonball to the other side of the arena

Explosion sound....

"KANZAKI!!!" Shouted Isabelle as she saw Kanzaki crashed into the wall

At the same time Mike fired his gun several times at Isabelle but she manage to dodge it and hide from one of the boulders that emerged when Richard stomped the ground

"You really focus on your enemy little missy!" Advised Richard

But Isabelle just ignored him and look at Kanzaki

As kanzaki stood up again Richard himself bolted out straight to Kanzaki but unlike Kanzaki attack his was much faster

Zoom....Crash...

As Richard crashed at Kanzaki he immediately grabbed Kanzaki neck and smashed him into the wall

Crash!!!!....

"Guhah!" Cried Kanzaki as he spat out blood

"KANZAKI!!!" Panicked Isabelle

Bang..... Bang.....Bang....

"You should really focus on me you know" shouted Mike

"Damn it!" Muttered Isabelle as she held her gun and fired back

Bang.....Bang.....Bang....

Meanwhile Kanzaki glared at Richard and gave him a straight uppercut

Bam....

But to no avail Richard didn't even get fazed by the attack

"It's useless.... When I transformed the appearance of my Mana, my defense went way high that you think..... Meaning I'm like an imprenatable fortress hehehe!hahahaha!" Laughed richard as he held up Kanzaki in the air

Gasping for air Kanzaki became irritated by Richards demeanour so he kick him in the face as he escaped his grasped

"Tsk! Annoying!" Muttered Kanzaki

"That hurt..... A bit" said Richard while smiling

"Your crazy" said kanzaki while smiling

"Your the same" said Richard returning his remark

After that Kanzaki attacked Richard with his series of slashes

While Richard grabbed his two daggers behind him and retaliated with his own series of attack

~Kanzaki~

Slash, Slash, Side slash, Spinning slash, Slash, Thrust, Vertical slash

~Richard~

Slice, Block, Double thrust, Parallel stab, Side stab, Low slice, Uppercut slice

Peng...Peng....cling...cling....clang...Peng...cling.....clang.....zzzzziiiiinnngg!!!!!

As kanzaki and Richard exchange attacks the whole audience was utterly silent

"Wha?.... What the heck is this? Am I seeing things or is that guy covered in electricity? (Examinee 1)

"Wait the other guy is fighting the guy clad electricity in equal grounds!.... Does that mean the other guy who took down a knight type chaos being.... Has some crazy powers as well?" (Examinee 2)

"Hey this isn't funny there's no way that there are people with powers here" (Examinee 3)

"If normal people has power.... Does that mean I also have a superpower as well? If there is I hope I have a power like Superman!" (Examinee 4)

As the audience made their comments in the unexpected development in the arena, both Kanzaki and Richard continued exchanging attacks

While they were fighting Mike took out something in his pocket and thrown it at Kanzaki and Richards location

The moment Isabelle used her ability on Mike she immediately knew that he was going to do something so she warned Kanzaki

"Kanzaki! Watch out it's a grenade!"

When Kanzaki heard this he instinctually jumped back but when he saw the object that was thrown his eyes opened wide

"Heh! You think it was a grenade?" Smirked Mike

"What?" Asks Isabelle seemingly confused

In the next moment the object explodes and a bright light filled the arena

When the light fades, Kanzaki stepped 10 blocks away from Richard while holding his eyes with one hand while the other hand is still holding the photon sword in defense position

"Hehehe! Chance..." Declared Richard

"Kanzaki!!!" Shouted Isabelle as she rushed to kanzaki's aid

"Oh no you don't" said Mike as he thrown a grenade infront of Isabelle

Explodes.....

"Kyaaaa! Screamed Isabelle as she was blown away

Richard held his daggers sideways and aimed at Kanzaki's legs

"First let's immobilize you" said Richard as he smiled

But the moment Richard made his attack, Kanzaki used his foresight and jumped

"What?... He can use his ability even if he closed his eyes?" Thought Richard

As he thought this Kanzaki stepped down his daggers and gave him a knee kick

"Gufuh!" Exclaimed Richard

And Kanzaki followed it with a side slash

Peng.....

Since Kanzaki can't penetrate Richards Mana defense, he used his strength to throw Richard away

As Richard rolled into the floor Kanzaki arrived beside him and hammered down his Photon sword

Explodes.....

As kanzaki pinned down Richard he putted more pressure on the sword making unable for him to get up

"What?... How can he still know where to attack?" Asks Mike confused

"You think I didn't saw that one coming?.... Sorry to say but Isabelle is still faster to send information to me than your attack thanks to her ability right?" Answered Kanzaki

"Your right!" Answered Isabelle as she pointed her gun at Mike

Bang.... Bang.... Bang

Sounds vibrated as Isabelle shot Mike's leg

"Aaaack!" Screamed Mike in pain

"Don't worry the bullets are virtual so it didn't do injury but since this is a realistic virtual then the pain is the same as reality" said Isabelle

"Mike!" Shouted Richard

Upon seeing Mike shot down, Richard electrified kanzaki's sword and pushed him away

As he was released Richard arrived infront of Isabelle and pushed her back with one swipe of his hand

"Kyaaaaa!" Screamed Isabelle

When Richard arrived beside Mike he said

"Get up we need to win!"

"Don't worry I can handle this" replied Mike

As they were conversing Kanzaki arrived infront of them and slashed with all his might and of course Richard defended it with his lightning Mana

While Isabelle and Mike continued to shot each other

As the match continued on, the whole audience became captivated by the match that is happening in the arena

"I don't know what's happening but don't give up!"

"You can do it!!"

"Let's go!!!!"

"Whooooaaaaaa!!!!!"

As both sides doesn't seem to give up the fight occured quite intensely inside the arena

"Thunder shock" shouted Richard as countless thunder bolts assaulted Kanzaki

Seeing this Kanzaki sped up his speed some more and slashed Richards Mana lightning Barrier

"Haaaaahhhhhh!" Shouted Kanzaki as he putted his whole weight in the sword

Crack!...

A crack appeared in Richards barrier

"I won't let you!!!" Screamed Richard as it tries to repel kanzaki's attack

Crack!.....Crack!.....Crack!...

[Match end! Tie Breaker]

Announced the system as the time runs out for the match

As the system announced this the whole audience went wild

"Wooooaaaahhhh!"

"That was awesome!"

"Best cliffhanger fight"

"Do it one more!"

As the crowed cheered the people in the arena calmed down their senses

"It's over" said Isabelle as she lumped down the floor

"Good riddance" said Mike

"That was a good fight even though I would have won" said Richard

"You wish! Clearly I would have won that fight if the time haven't run out" objected Kanzaki

"How about next time let's have a rematch but as a member of the chaos breakers" said Richard

"Sounds great!" Said Kanzaki

"Rivals?" Asks Richard

"Rivals!" Said Kanzaki as he handshakes Richard

As both of them agreed with each other they both laughed it out instead

"As both were tie in this match and both have the highest ratings, per request of the higher-ups Pair No. 3 and Pair No. 10 will be automatically be officially registered as members of the Chaos Breakers..... So let give them a round of applause for these new Chaos Breakers" said the host

As the host said this the whole audience clapped, cheered, and acknowledged the automatic membership of both Kanzaki pair and Richard pair, after all both of these pair manage to do incredible stuffs during the test

"Finally I'm a member of the chaos breakers" murmured Kanzaki

As you can notice in this chapter my new style in doing the fighting effect right? If you notice it then I'll be sticking to that style for a while

Also the match was a time attack that's all!!!....
