Chapter 14: [Mutated Beast Chaos Being]

[Mall, Grandora City]

[Few minutes before the breakout]

As both Jinwoo and Ryuuji were tailing Kanzaki, they conversed with each other just to pass the time

"So Ryuuji have you ever been with anyone before" asks Jinwoo while eating his burger

"Nope and don't ask me" replied Ryuuji as he sips a cola

"Oh come on! At least there's someone or a girl out there who likes you!" Pushed Jinwoo

"Well.... There is one" said Ryuuji while hanging his head

"Really? I didn't think that you got in it you! So who is it?" Asks Jinwoo curiously

When Jinwoo asks Kanzaki this question, the girls in the dormitory joined in the topic

(Hey! Is it true someone like you Ryuuji?) Asks Jessica over the comms

(I wanna hear!) Added Ai over the comms

Currently the supporter group was in a van parked somewhere in the mall monitoring both Ryuuji and Jinwoo

"Well it's my mother" answered Ryuuji

"Eh? Well that should be expected right?!.... It is your mother after all" said Jinwoo

(Speaking of your mother... How is she?) Asks Jessica

"She's dead" replied Kanzaki while he grit his teeth

(Oh I'm sorry to hear that) apologized Jessica from being pushy

"Hey! Don't tell me you lost your mother due to...." Said Jinwoo figuring out how Ryuuji mother died

But before he could finish his words Ryuuji cuts him

"Its not what you think.... My mother died before the catastrophe" he corrected them

(Then did she die due to illness?) Asks Ai

"No she died..... Because of my **ty father" said Ryuuji as he remembered his bitter memory

"Ryuuji..." muttered Jinwoo

Upon hearing Ryuuji's answer the group stayed silent for a moment

As Jinwoo was about to say something the surrounding areas Mana suddenly gathered violently at the center of the mall and since Jinwoo and Ryuuji were close to that center both of them were showered by a heavy pressure

"What a heavy pressure!" Murmured Jinwoo

"This is no ordinary rift" added Ryuuji as he started to prepare to attack

At the same time they saw Kanzaki handling Fafnir facing off the rift

"Looks like he intends to fight it off" said Jinwoo

But at that moment the girls in the comms started to panic

(This is bad! The scales are of the charts) said Jessica

(No matter how the system analyze it, it will just measure it up as a normal monster level being) added Ai

"What do you mean?" Asks Jinwoo

(It means that the density of Mana surging through it doesn't match a monster level rift) answered Ai

(That only means one thing....) Said Jessica

"A mutated beast at the Apex for its next evolution" finished Ryuuji

(So if we let it be..... It may evolve to Titan level) conjectured Jessica

"This is really bad huh!" Commented Jinwoo

Without wasting any thought about this Ryuuji have his orders

"Ai send report this to the Sub-Headquarters and take measures to evacuate the civilians, Jessica contact the other teams nearby and ask for cooperation, while both Jinwoo and I will help Kanzaki face the mutated beast..... With that everyone move out?"

"Roger!"

Meanwhile as kanzaki held the hilt of his sword Fafnir, the mutated beast finally comes out of the rift

When the mutated beast shows itself, it has a grosteqeu appearance.... it has a head of a lion, a lower body of a goat, a wing of bat, a tail of a with a head of a snake at the end of it

When both Jinwoo and Ryuuji saw the mutated beast they immediately stopped their movements

"No way a chimera? That's the worst enemy you could find in Chaos monster level" muttered Jinwoo

The reason why chimera is the worst kind of enemy anyone could have is because of its multiple stack skills, strength, agility and many more

The moment Kanzaki saw the Chaos Monster he immediately activated it's eye and Mana begun to gather around him

As he inhaled, he grabbed the hilt in Fafnir and charged straight at the chimera

Author's notes:

I'll be using the term chimera here cause it's easy for me

Upon seeing Kanzaki charge at it, the chimera flapped it's wing and wind blade was shot straight to Kanzaki

Using his foresight Kanzaki manage to block it in time while taking few steps back

"Kuh! What power!" Murmured Kanzaki

Thinking that the previous approach wouldn't work, Kanzaki charge in while dodging multiple wind blades that the chimera is producing

"What's happening out there?" Asks Iggy

"There's a chaos beast outside so please stay down" advised Isabelle

"What a chaos beast?!" Shrieked John

"Aren't we in danger if we stay inside?" Asks Amelie

"No! You'll be in much more danger if you go out" answered Isabelle

"She's right! We won't know that if we go out there.... That thing may attack us" agreed Luisa

"No way!" Muttered Iggy

Seeing her friends wearing grim expressions on their faces Isabelle encourage them by saying

"Don't worry let's believe in Kanzaki"

"Well do we have any choice?" Iggy said sarcastically

Boom.....Boom...Boom.....Boom

Kanzaki was dodging the series of wind blades attacks coming from the chimera

After seeing that the chimera is little by little hastening it's attacks at an incredible speed Kanzaki has no choice but to hide somewhere

"Guh!" Cried Kanzaki as he got hit by a wind blade in his shoulders

While pressing the wound Kanzaki gritted his teeth as he thought something

"Damn it! I can't get close! It's too many!"

As he thought this the place suddenly became quite

"What? Why did it become so silent?"

As he took a peak he saw that the chimera was gating ready to fire a laser in its mouth

"Shit" he exclaimed

At the same time the chimera launched the laser directly at Kanzaki

Seeing the future that he can't dodge he closed his eyes, suddenly Ryuuji jumped infront of him and blocked the laser

"Don't close your eyes you dip**!" Shouted Ryuuji

When he heard Ryuuji's voice, Kanzaki opened his eyes

"Ryuuji? What are you doing here?" Asks Kanzaki

"Hello!!! I'm saving you of course" replied Ryuuji

"Get up and prepare to attack" added Ryuuji

Hearing his orders Kanzaki gave a nod and positioned his sword

After the chimera stopped attacking Ryuuji called Jinwoo out

"NOW!!!"

At that command Jinwoo sprung out above the chimera and activated his eyes

"ENHANCE!" shouted Jinwoo

Shouting the word enhance, Jinwoo strength rise a certain level

After that Jinwoo hammered his iron pole at the chimera

....Boom....

Due to the impact a shockwave was produced and the ground beneath the chimera's feet shattered

"He's defense is really hard.... I'm impressed!" Claimed Jinwoo

"Attack now!" Ordered Ryuuji

"Right" replied Kanzaki

At that signal both Ryuuji and Kanzaki made a dash straight to the chimera as Jinwoo pinned it down

Cling.....Clang....Cling...Cling.....Cling....Clang....Clang...Cling.....Clang....

Both Ryuuji and Kanzaki released a series of attacks but to no avail they didn't even leave at least a dent

"It's too hard" complained Kanzaki  as his hands go numb

"Just continue attacking" ordered Ryuuji

Meanwhile inside the family restaurant with the other people there, Isabelle was watching everything

"What's happening now?" Asks Luisa worriedly

"There are two more chaos breakers who joined in fighting the chimera"

Hearing this the people faces brightens up

"Really? That's mean we can be saved" exclaimed by one of the civilians

"Finally thank God" said by some of the people

Hearing this the people relaxed a little

"Hey is he still alright?" Asks Luisa

"Yeah! He's still fighting out there" said Isabelle

By that Isabelle watching the fight and saw something with her ability that caught her attention

(Kanzaki the tail! Watch out for the tail!) Said Isabelle

At the same time Isabelle warned Kanzaki, both Jessica and Ai also warned Ryuuji and Jinwoo about the tail

When the snake attack them, all of them manage to dodge it

When the chimera was set free it released a white smoke covering the entire parameter

"You think you can escape?" Exclaimed Ryuuji

"Blown away"

At Ryuuji command all the fog was blown away by a fierce wind

When the fog get cleared Jinwoo shouted

"Watch out!!!"

At that time Kanzaki turned at the chimera that is right infront of him and stared at his eyes

....Cla-clang...

Sound vibrated as kanzaki dropped Fafnir to the ground

Seeing that it's prey not moving the chimera opened its mouth and about to bite Kanzaki

Surely but safely Ryuuji throws Ifrit at the chimera to seperates Kanzaki away from it and at the same time Jinwoo hammered the chimera at its sides

"Graaahhh!!!" Shouted the chimera as it crashed into the store beside it

"How is he?" Asks Jinwoo

"He's petrified" answered Ryuuji

At the same time Isabelle dashed out the restaurant while her friends tried to keep her back

"Kanzaki-kun!!!" She shouted

"Isabelle go back inside it's dangerous out here!" Said Luisa

"You guys!!! Go back inside" ordered Ryuuji

"But..... Kanzaki" muttered Isabelle

"He's going to be fine!" Assured Ryuuji

As they were talking the chimera pounced at Jinwoo while Jinwoo himself blocked it with his pole

Because of the attack both Jinwoo and the chimera crashed at the fountain

"Ryuuji!"shouted Jinwoo

"Damn it! Fine! You guys take care of Kanzaki me and that guy will lure that chimera away got it?" Ordered Ryuuji

"Yes..yes" mumbled Isabelle

"All right I'll leave him to you"

As soon he said that Ryuuji smashed Ifrit against the chimera

When the chimera regained it's footing, Ryuuji slashed the it's cheek

Because of that attack the chimera got enraged and focused on Ryuuji

"You want me? Come and catch me!"

At that Ryuuji made a run for it as it tried to lure the chimera away while Jinwoo followed afterwards

Seeing both the fighters and the chimera went off to somewhere, all the civilians came out of their hiding place

"We're saved! We're saved" cheered the crowd

As the civilians celebrated it's successful safety, Isabelle and it's group approached Kanzaki

"What? What happened to him?" Asks Iggy

"It seems like he's been petrified" answered Luisa

"Let's wait for the officials!" Suggested John

"We cant! We have no time..... don't worry kanzaki I'll find a way to unpetrify you" assured Isabelle

[City Highway, Grandora City]

Along the highway Ryuuji was dodging a series of wind blades and lasers from the chimera

"Jessica are they in position?" Asks Ryuuji

(Yes they're in position...you just need to lure it at the intersection) replied Jessica

"Launch the Klien missile!" Ordered Ryuuji

(Roger that!) Said Jessica

[Sub-Headquarters, Control Room]

"Missiles intact" said one of the employee

"Fire the missile!!!" Ordered Oliver

"Firing" said the employee

And with that two Klein missile was launched from it's silo

....Swooooosh!!!.....

At the same time Ryuuji arrived at the intersection and all the military and chaos eye users came out from it's hiding in every building

"Fire! Fire!" Shouted one of the sergeant

With that order all units released their longer range skills and all soldiers fired their weapon

Tatatatatatatatatata... Swooooshh!....Bang.....Bang...Booom....Boooom....Boom

The chimera was being bombarded by different attacks in all sides pinning him down in one location unable to retaliate not even one attack

As this continues all users attacked as well including Ryuuji himself as he stabbed the ground he shouted

"FIRE DRAGON!!!"

With that six lines stretched out long beneath his feet and six fire dragon emerge from it

"Pin it down!" He commanded

At an instant six fire dragon assaulted the chimera making it difficult for it to escape

"Take this you chimera bastard THUNDERBOLT!" shouted Richard as he summoned a huge thunderbolt to paralyze the chimera

Zooom!..... Kaboooom...bzzzt....bzzzt

Despite all of the attacks the chimera still stands but with an injured body

"It's still alive!" Shouted one of the soldiers

"Just how tough is this thing?" Cried one of the users

"That thing just withstood my attack? Impossible!" Exclaimed Richard

Seeing the chimera still stands the sergeant panicked

"This is no joke..... When is the missile coming?" Shouted by the sergeant

"It's near" said the person in charge of communication

At that moment Ryuuji felt the missiles presence

"It's here! The missiles here everybody get ready to take cover" shouted Ryuuji

At that shout every unit and user put their barrier up

"Jinwoo!!!" Called Ryuuji

"I got it" replied Jinwoo

Receiving the signal Jinwoo muttered something to his iron pole

"Extend!"

With that call jinwoo's iron extends long enough for its other end to reach the chimera

As it extends Jinwoo hammered it down to the chimera strong enough to destroy a iron plated boat to pieces

Crash!!!!....

As it pinned down, the Klien missile that everyone's waiting for arrived

"Incoming!" Shouted the person in charge of communication

Zooooomm....kaboooom...

As it explodes the Klien missile ejected a barrier around it trapping the explosions of the blast and strengthening it with electro current Klien energy

Bzzzt...bzzt...bzzzzt.....

As it died down a huge crater was left behind but something unexpected happened that left them even the higher-ups speechless

"Negative sir the target is still alive!" Reported by the scout

"Impossible!" Muttered the sergeant as it drops the goggles from shock

"No way it survives even from that?" Complained Richard

"Tch" clicked Ryuuji

"Hehehe! this thing is really tough" laughed aside by Jinwoo

As they were left shocked and bewildered from the result, the chimera itself channeled it's Mana and released a pressure to summon different types of Chaos beast and Mutated Beast

"What? Hey! More are coming!"warned by one of the soldiers

With this warning Ryuuji gripped Ifrit tightly seemingly getting irritated

Seeing this Jinwoo restrained him

"Ryuuji control your emotions their are many civilian here!"

"Damn it!" Muttered Ryuuji as it tries to control its emotion

However the person in charge of the communication to the H.Q shouted something

"This is bad! Countless breakout is happening around the city!"

"What?!" Shouted the sergeant not accepting the current situation

[Sub-Headquarters]

"Activate all defences, deploy all the troops stationed at the city! We must secure the safety of the people!" Ordered Oliver as he prepares to fight the chaos mutated beast and chaos beast that is attacking the base

*****

[Mall]

"Everyone gather at the restaurant do not engage the monsters!" Shouted one of the civilians as they were being pursued by the chaos beast and Mutated beast

*****

[Harvon Academy]

"Everybody at the gym quickly let's barricade ourselves" shouted one of the teachers as it evacuates the student for the reason that the school is being attacked by the chaos beings

*****

[City Highway Intersection]

"Oi! Oi! That thing it's healing itself" shouted one of the user that has ability of clairvoyance

Because of this all units in the vicinity soldiers or user are tensed up because of the chimera

Seeing this Jinwoo have to admit that these were really a bad situation

"This is bad! Really bad!"

Author's notes:

The story is about to get more interesting so better expect it to become more epic

Oh yeah I'll be releasing 2 chapters per week I cause I do need time for myself after all.... That's all !
