Chapter 25: [Divine Might]

[Underground Head-Quarters Training Platform]

As the barrier encasing Ryuuji exploded all spectators were flabbergasted by the scene, at the same time Arthur and Joana sensed a violent Mana gathering within the explosion

"He actually destroyed Joana's enclosement barrier with brute Force" muttered Arthur as he stared at the huge explosion

But unlike Arthur the most shocked of all is Joana herself

"Impossible! How can he destroy that? Just what did he do?" She thought to herself as sweat trickled down her face

As the explosion cleared Ryuuji emerged from the explosion and immediately spread the flames all around him creating a scene of burning hell

Upon seeing this Arthur requested something to Joana

"Lead! Bring down the barrier!" He said

"What?! But if I bring it down..." She insisted

"It doesn't matter if there's barrier or not when were facing him" said Arthur as he pointed at Ryuuji

As Joana looked back at Ryuuji she silently nod and brought the barrier down

The moment the barrier enclosing Arthur was brought down Kanzaki made a dash for it aiming at Arthur

Just before Kanzaki could land a strike Joana herself put herself between Arthur and Kanzaki and immediately put her shield up

Peng!....kkzzzzkk!....kzzk!

When Arthur noticed Joana just saved him he muttered

"Joana!"

"Don't worry just focus on that guy! I'll hold this guy by myself" she replied

Hearing this Arthur immediately know that Joana was giving him a chance to move, as he realized this he nodded at Joana

"Alright! But here! BESTOW!"

As he said the last word Arthur slightly used his ability and gave Joana a boost on her attributes

Receiving the boost Joana thanked Arthur for his support and after that Arthur immediately made a dash to Ryuuji

As Arthur left Joana returned her gaze to Kanzaki but the moment she did Kanzaki was muttering something, as she focus her hearing she heard him saying

"Slash, side kick, plan b to c"

As she heard that Kanzaki put force to his sword and slashed upwards dragging Joana shield along the momentum

"Wha?...." Stuttered Joana

As she said that Joana's shield was swept by the momentum and followed Kanzaki's sword as if the sword attracted the shield like a magnet

Immediately after Kanzaki quickly kicked Joana's sideways sending her to stumble along the rubble floor

"This guy!" She thought to herself

As she backflip herself to stand up Kanzaki was already infront of her about to thrust his sword

Using her boosted senses she tilted her head sideways while putting her shield up between the sword and Kanzaki's shield

Kzzzzttt!..... Kzzzzttt!.....

As the friction from the sword and shield occured Joana glared at Kanzaki

"Is this guy improving while fighting?"

Upon thinking that Joana quickly did an uppercut to retaliate against kanzaki's attack, expecting him to be hit Kanzaki immediately jumped above Joana doing a spin and landed with his back facing her and slashed  backwards

Seeing this Joana immediately jumped to avoid the attack, as she landed Kanzaki met her with a punch straight to the face but Joana was quick to react and held her arm infront of her face to block the attack which only resulted her to slide a few steps

At the same time Arthur slammed his sword Excalibur down to Ryuuji but Ryuuji repelled him using Ifrit

As Arthur was shot back Ryuuji stepped into the ground and cracks formed underneath his feat at the same time he gather Mana around him violently that the floor in which he is standing exploded from the pressure

As Ryuuji launched himself Arthur already held up his sword while gathering a towering of yellow-ish  white aura

"EXCALIBUR!"

As he said that he slammed his sword hard sending the energy at Ryuuji

But contrary to facing it head on Ryuuji himself spun around.in a wide scale to avoid the beam by a hairs thread and accelerated himself further making him appear right beside Arthur

As Arthur noticed this he immediately jumped back to avoid Ryuuji as the latter slashed his sword up

When Arthur dodged the attack he saw Ryuuji smiled for a moment before he muttered in a low voice

"HELL FLAME SLASH"

As Arthur heard that realization dawned upon him as he put his arms up to protect himself

In the next moment a wave of flames engulfed Arthur and exploded

Kaboom!.....

With that Arthur himself was blown away, while as for Ryuuji upon touching the ground he immediately pushed himself to go straight to Arthur making him instantly arriving infront of Arthur

In order to protect himself Arthur slashed at Ryuuji but Ryuuji himself ducked then slashed his Excalibur away as he hammered his sword down

As his sword got swept away he immediately stumbled sideways to avoid the attack and charged at Ryuuji

"Haaaaahhhh!" He shouted

But contrary to it Ryuuji gave him a series of slashes and because of this Arthur gave his own series of slashes while dodging Ryuuji's attack at the same time

Seeing this the spectating crowd become engrossed in the fight to the point that they put bets on who will win the match

"I can't believe that those foreigners are going toe to toe with the white knights!"

"Don't be so down the white knights still had Roland by their side"

"Idiot didn't you see? The other group also has a person in reserve and normally that guy doesn't look weak at all"

"Ah crap does that mean that these guys is on par with us? Impossible! I can't even think of that!"

As the crowd commented on the scenes their seeing Roland and the gang have different opinion

"Looks like Joana is struggling in her fight! That guy has really an unpredictable move"

As the girls in polar heard this they begun to chuckle knowing the reason why kanzaki's movements are unpredictable

Seeing this Roland became confused by their reaction

"Wait! Do you guys know why his moves are unpredictable?" He asked the girls

But Jinwoo answered him

"Well basically yeah!"

After that Isabelle continued what Jinwoo said

"Actually we haven't told you yet but Kanzaki is using his ability since the very beginning of the match"

Upon hearing this Roland was left in shock

"He have been using it since the beginning? How can that be?" Exclaimed Roland

"That's because his ability is to be able to see into the future in other words foresight" added Jinwoo

Hearing this Roland begun to understand the reason why kanzaki's movements until now was unpredictable, as he glanced at him he murmured

"Foresight eh! With that kind of power you will have a chance to change the future"

Meanwhile inside the platform the four users Joana, Arthur, Ryuuji, and Kanzaki are having a fierce battle with neither sides backing down

"Haaaaahhhh!" Screamed Ryuuji as he smashed the floor pavement with his sword Ifrit

The moment Ryuuji slammed his sword Arthur jumped back wide enough to put distance between him and Ryuuji

As Ryuuji saw.arthur dodged his attack he throws Ifrit straight to him and crouched down before launching him straight to Arthur

Seeing that Ryuuji had thrown his sword at him with the tip of it sword pointing at him Arthur quickly held his sword up and slashed Ifrit to parry it

After he parries the sword he was immediately grabbed in the face by Ryuuji and as Ryuuji gripped Arthur's face he immediately slammed his head down to the ground hard enough for the floor to crack

Luckily Arthur condensed the Mana around his body to form some kind of she'll so the attack only hurts him so much but not fatally injured

Upon seeing Arthur was still struggling Ryuuji held Arthur's head up again and slammed him down to the ground and he repeated this three times

Bam!..... Bam!... Bam!...

After the third slam Arthur spat out blood as his body especially his head was creaking in pain

Immediately he punched Ryuuji's face so hard making Ryuuji let go of his head and after that he gave Ryuuji a spinning back kick at the same time grabbing Excalibur while finishing the combo with him slashing Ryuuji on his chest

Upon the excellent reaction of Ryuuji he quickly dodged the fatal attack only leaving him with a small slash in his chest

Quickly thinking Ryuuji held out his hand to summon Ifrit but Arthur noticed this and spun around to parry Ifrit, as he started to move to parry Ryuuji's sword Ifrit the latter smiled while muttering

"Explode!"

The moment Ifrit made contact with Excalibur a huge explosion occured sending Arthur crashing down the nearby rubble

After seeing Arthur falling to the ground Joana gritted her teeth while. Shielding herself from kanzaki's attack

Thinking that she should quickly aid Arthur she bent down low and kicked Kanzaki's feet but Kanzaki himself already foresaw this and immediately jumped above her as he slashed her with his sword Fafnir

Seeing this Joana quickly activated one of her strongest shield ability

"AEGIS!!!"

As she said this a hand size shield appeared above her and shielded her from kanzaki's attack

Peng!.....

Blocking the attack Joana quickly moved away from her position and ran towards Arthur

Seeing this both Ryuuji and Kanzaki tried to intercept her

When Kanzaki slashed his sword Joana activated aegis again to protect her back and when she saw Ryuuji slashed his sword Ifrit right above her eyesight she immediately slide down to dodge his attack

After that Kanzaki caught up to her and attacked with rapid slashing but Joana muttered

"AEGIS SHIELD MULTIPLY!"

Immediately multiple small palm sized aegis blocked all of kanzaki's attack

At the back Ryuuji stabbed the sword to the ground and said

"FIRST LAYER!"

Immediately explosions started to occur around Joana

"What is this?" She said in surprise

Seeing that the explosions can't stop Joana's advance Ryuuji push the sword down and said

"SECOND LAYER!"

After that not only more explosion occured but there are also flame pillars rising from the ground

Boom!.... Boom!..... Boom!... Boom!....

Boom!..... Boom!.....

Feeling the pressure Joana made a dash for it while putting her shield into all purpose shield, with this it didn't too long for her to reach where Arthur is laying on the pile of rubble

"THIRD LAYER!"

As Ryuuji pushed down his sword to the last layer a huge lava pillar erupted underneath the death of Joana making it a huge scene

Upon seeing this the whole spectators was left speechless as they saw an explosion in which only in movies such as end of the world catastrophy explosion can be seen

As they saw this they taught that Joana and Arthur was done for but contrary to their expectations after the dust cleared they saw a shining globe shield floating in air and as it opened Joana and Arthur were there while Arthur himself was fully recovered including Joana herself

"Hehehehe! They are really persistent" snickered Ryuuji as he gripped his sword Ifrit

Meanwhile Arthur smiled like his having fun

"This is great I haven't released all my powers yet because I was afraid that they would get injured and surrendering quickly but this guys are different! They are stronger than ordinary fighters especially the red head he has a destructive ability" said Arthur

"Joana I'm going to use my ability" added Arthur

Hearing this Joana allowed him so

"Looks like it can't be help!.... Alright go all out!"

Upon hearing this Arthur activities his ability

"DIVINE MIGHT!"

As Artur said this a huge amount of Mana gathered around him making the place felt breezy inspite of Ryuuji turning it to inferno

Upon sensing this all users in England branch felt nostalgic while the gang felt bitter in their mouth as they sensed a huge Mana gathering to Arthur empowering him even more so that before

But among all of them both Ryuuji and Kanzaki held their weapons up as sweat trickled their face

"Looks like we woke up a monster!" Commented Kanzaki

Hearing this Ryuuji smiled at Kanzaki and said

"Monster? Don't exaggerate! All of us are monsters here including her me and you

Upon hearing this Kanzaki realized that what Ryuuji said is true cause everyone here is fighting like crazy but not one of them are looking to be about to be defeated so he replied

"Monsters? If I can world that power on my own will I think I can be one"

He said that as he remembered his transformation

Divine might- ability that can enhance the wielder attributes to a sky rocketing degree making the wielder become overpowered when fighting

Bestow- ability to give an amount of rise in others attribute making them stronger than ordinary
