Chapter 48: [Emergency Situation III]

That was the reaction of the three local Users that were in the area, they couldn't even comprehend just how strong the attack must have been that caused the whole surrounding to shook and wind pressure blowing them away

As they stood firm to the ground, the huge explosion suddenly seized revealing a Chaos Beast in the middle of the crater with an arm missing

"It actually worked! It freaking work!" Exclaimed Beong-go as he himself just knew how tough was the armor of the enemy

"Careful! It might go on a rampage!" Warned Gun-hee as he readies his spear

As for Min-ah she couldn't even utter another word as she saw that spectacle

Due to losing it's arm the Chaos Beast have gone on a rampage as it rage piled up and seek for the things that it would use to Pent up its anger

Unfortunately the Chaos Beast saw the three local Users that were confronting him, thus it decided to settle for them

With a roar the Chaos Beast charged head first directly at Min-ah whom it deducted as the weakest link among the three

"!!!"

With it's charge however was immediately blocked by Beong-go's arm guard and followed by a counter as Gun-hee strikes with his spear above him

Min-ah however launches herself upwards and brought down her own flurry of attacks at the Chaos Beast

Using it's rage as a source of energy, it grabbed Beong-go's leg and slams it right at Min-ah propelling both fo them at the corner of the vicinity and at the same time landing a kick towards Gun-hee's solid defense

"Guh!"

Shooting out like a bullet crashed passed the shed and towards the ground as it create a Grove along it

With a sneer the Chaos Beast actually stepped forward when suddenly it twisted it's body as a ray of shot passed through his side and exploded behind him

Far afar Alice was surprised to see that for the first time this particular Chaos Being actually dodged her attack that was already out of range for ordinary snipers

The reason for her advantage was because she has an ability that can mostly calculate the whereabouts of a enemy and Ally alike, while staying in it's farthest location, not only that she can also calculate just how much strong the opponent is really is

In other words it is as if Alice herself is both doing two roles, the role of a user and the role of a supporter

Very quickly she reloaded the energy of her sniper gun and aimed at the Chaos Beast that is somewhat locating her position

With a pull of the trigger she sent out another destructive attack towards the enemy, thus causing the latter to quickly act on its reflex and pushed out the ground beneath him to propel it forward

As it ran it actually intended to get out of the school and locate the sniper while causing destruction around the publicity

Seeing this the three local Users tried their very best to stand up and follow it with all their might

When the Chaos Beast arrived at the front of the school, it was actually met with the media and the civilians including the evacuated children

When both sides met, the latter side actually froze on it's spot as the former closes in when suddenly a shout vibrated out of the air that causes the panic among the crowd

"Run! Get out of here!"

"Get your asses out of there!"

"Run!"

The three local Users shouts out towards the crowd that snapped them off their daze that causes mass panic

As they tried to fled the Chaos Beast slowly thread past his footsteps and headed toward the crowd with a grin on its face, when suddenly something caught it's eye when a girl kid that is quite older than its peer were standing firm on her ground and tried protecting the two boys behind her and the rest of the other children

Followed suite the two boys behind her mustered up their courage and blocked it's path

This particular children were the three small siblings of Jinwoo namely Chan-hee, Hyung, and Dan

Being the eldest Hyung tried to boldly shout out towards the terrifying Chaos Being that is responsible for the almost destruction of the world

"We will not falter! We are the siblings of a user, we will protect them!" Shouted Hyung as his legs tremble in fear

Followed suite Chan-hee and Dan immediately shout out their agreement inspite their fear

"Yeah!"

"What he said!"

Taking no notice of their small brave act, the Chaos Beast actually raises it's remaining arm as it's smacks down towards the three children, this in turn puts a grim expression towards the faces of the local Users when they saw how heartless was the enemy

When the three children saw this they tightly closes their eyes expecting the attack to land immediately when suddenly seconds passed and the attack didn't even hit them

When they opened their eyes, what they saw greatly excites them as their eyes sparkle in delight

The person who blocked the attack was actually Jinwoo who already activated his eye that gave him immense strength to withstand the impact from the attack while using his pole horizontally to block the strike

"You dare lay your filthy hand on my siblings!!! Kanzaki! Let's bring this guy hell!" Growled Jinwoo in fury

"Roger!"

This time Kanzaki disregarded all meaning as his blue eyes glowed and Mana surged out all around his body, solely focusing to bring down the enemy from his eyes

He acquired this state when he was solely defending himself against a wave after wave of chaos being that crawled out in different direction, but in turn this state brought him to his heightened concentrated state where he is almost unbeatable because his is showing less flaw by the minute as he observed the enemy

Jumping off the ground Kanzaki positioned himself and thrusted it's sword Fafnir straight against the enemy's armor

Peng!

With a crisp sound of two hard objects colliding, Kanzaki was actually taken a back as the recoil spreads out across his arm

This in turn allows the Chaos beast to swing its arm sideways ways, aiming for his head when Kanzaki bent his body backwards and slashed below it's waist line

Peng!

Another crisp sound resounded, this time however the Chaos Beast smashed his hand below.him only for the former to jump up and gripped his sword tightly as he slashed with all his strength

This time Kanzaki didn't aim to produce damage but aimed to push the Chaos Beast back away from the crowd

There's so why the chaos beast can't even get a hold of Kanzaki was because the latter was actually constantly using his foresight ability to peek the future with the enemy's every move to produce much safer result

Combine his foresight ability with his full concentration mode, he will be as untouchable as it can get

This in turn made the three local Users to awe I'm surprise on how the two newly arrived user pushed back the enemy

"Just who is this guys?" Asks Beong-go

"They're good" reacted Min-ah

"I don't know... . . But if they're here to help then I appreciate their aid" replied Gun-hee towards Beong-go's question

As the chaos beast got pushed back Jinwoo immediately made a pass through Kanzaki and slammed it's pole against the Chaos Beast causing the ground beneath it to be cracked and deformed from the impact of the attack

"Hoh! You actually withstand that? Then our turn"

With that Jinwoo followed it up as he turns and slammed his pole on its sides sending the creature to crash towards the school

"We'll show you how city boys handle creatures like you" he growled
