Chapter 49: [Clean Up]

[Boseong Middle School]

Spinning the pole in his hands and doing a rotational routine, Jinwoo blocked the attack of the chaos beast as it sent out barrage of beams from it's mouth

Looking from it's expression one could see that it was irritated due to the interventions of the enemy

Using his pole he spins then deflect the beams trajectory to avoid further damage to the surroundings, while it continues to fire Kanzaki made a dash towards it while using using it's foresight to dodge the beams and made his way through

Sliding beneath it Kanzaki swung his sword upward to shut it's mouth causing the charging beam from it's mouth to explode on the spot, afterwards he attacked it's hands that was supporting it's upper body before kicking its jaw

Enraged the Chaos Beast tried to retaliate by sending a surprising blow the moment it got hit, but due to kanzaki's foresight ability he manage to dodge it by hair's thread before leaving a slash across it's chest which made the creature to shout in pure anguish

Very quickly the latter immediately backed away and raised its sword to his side to block the initial blow, as it did Jinwoo dove in and thrusted the edge of his pole on the creatures belly

"Enlarge!"

As he shouted that his pole immediately grew in length as it brought the creature midair before he immediately retracted it

As it floats midair and was airborne, the teams sniper didn't let go of this chance as Alice changed the function of her sniper gun from critical one shot to rapid firing, as soon as it saw the creature midair she pulled the trigger sending multiple shots towards the Chaos Beast in one breath

Due to it the chaos beast was blown apart midair causing repeatitive explosions

As it fell Kanzaki used it's foresight to predict the location of its fall, directly making his way in, enveloping his sword fafnir with black wild Mana he stepped ahead before swinging his sword upwards In full strength

Due to it's black Mana the sword sliced through its damaged weakened body giving the creature the final blow it needed before dying

After the fight transgressed and the police officials came in together with the medics to see if there are some critically injured people, Jinwoo immediately pushed them aside as it ran straight to its crying siblings and hugged them tightly

As his sibling continued to cry Jinwoo couldn't help but keep reprimanding them

"You idiot! You shouldn't have stayed still like that!!! What would have happened if we didn't get here in time!" He reprimanded

As his two little brothers cried he looked as his sole little sister who was quite flustered before saying to his siblings

"You guys are quite brave... . . I'm glad that you guys but I'm happy that you are safe"

As he said that he pulled his little sister for a hug before the latter cried in his arms

Seeing that Kanzaki couldn't help but imagine what would his parents say to him if they were alive, he truly regretted that he wasn't strong enough back then to protect them, whenever he remembered his past memories it always left him with a bitter taste

Stabbing his sword to the ground he limply fell on his butt as he catch on his breath, after some time he noticed some footsteps approaching him from behind

Looking back he saw the three local Users who somehow stalled the creature successfully enough for them to arrive

"Thank you for arriving to aid us... . . My name is Gun-hee the leader of this group and this is my teammates Beong-go and Min-ah" he introduced himself

"By the way... . . I didn't know that there are other users here beside us!!! Where did you guys came from? Why don't we have any recording about you guys? Even our supporters are busy trying to find out about you" asked by the guy named Beong-go

"Yeah! Yeah! By the way that sniper guy... . . Is he one of your guys? Tell him that were thankful for his aid! He's been helpful to us since the beginning" said the girl named Min-ah

As she said that the others followed suite as they nodded

Hearing that Kanzaki broke the Ice for them by telling them that the sniper isn't a guy but instead a girl which made the three of them to form a shock faces

Unfortunately after that the sole girl of their squad manage to break free form the shock as she lightens up and was happy that a fellow girl was helping her

Kanzaki couldn't help but understand this girls feeling, after all her teammates are bunch of boys

Following suite Jinwoo approached them as he introduced himself and the others, he also said that they came her only purely of emergency and not with the assist of their supporter since they lack equipment

He also said that they didn't plan on fighting since they came here only to practice and experience some vacation, to support that claim he pointed out that both him and Kanzaki wasn't wearing their uniform when they fought except they used their casual clothing without much protection on their body and he was sure that Alice was only on her string shirt and a mini skirt when she also helped

This information in turn Stunned them, but afterwards they thanked them and offered to them if somehow they can visit there local base in which the latter immediately agreed upon

As the trio left Jinwoo told Kanzaki that they should also leave, but the latter reminded him about his Ex-girlfriend which they left

Surprisingly Jinwoo announced that he scheduled their meet up at a later time since he wasn't ready to face her yet

Taking that as an excuse they immediately trudge onward as they came near to observe the current situation before leaving

The next day Jinwoo and the group excused themselves from the formers parents as they left the house to visit the local Users in town

Surely the formers parents didn't object to that since they weren't their employee on the first place and bid them farewell and good luck

"So you guys encountered a problem yesterday, well that explains why Alice went up to the roof of the house" said Isabelle

"That also explains the shaking... . . And here I thought she was you know doing herself which cause the unecessary shaking" teased Jessica

"Wa... . . I don't do such thing!!! I'm not doing such embarrassing thing like that in my entire life!!!" Reacted Alice as she blushed

From this Ai laughed so hard after getting the joke of Jessica, however Kanzaki also blushed when the latter made joke of that which made Jinwoo also laugh at his predicament before setting his hand over his shoulders

"Hey looks like she's still... . ."

But immediately Kanzaki cuts him off surprisingly

"Shut it!!!"

They were conversing this kind of topic while they were on their way towards the location using the car they have rented from the organization

As they passed through some buildings they continued on their idle chat when suddenly they finally came across the structure that they were supposed to go

The locals building wasn't that grandiose as they imagined as it was like a three storied building that they can see everywhere, well they didn't expect much since they considered that this is just a local base, but it did bring some excitement inside of them

As they parked by the sides and got off the car, a person came out of the building as it welcomed them with his whole heart

Immediately both Jinwoo and Kanzaki recognized him

"Welcome! To our local base in Boseong! My name is Gun-hee... . . Pleasure to meet you guys"
