Chapter 5: [Polar Dormitory]

[Chaos Breakers Sub-Headquarters]

"So now you know how the Chaos Eyes are discovered" said Oliver

"But what's that got to do about my situations?" Asked Kanzaki

"It gives you a heads up of what kind of power you've got and learn about it's discovery" explained Oliver

After Oliver said this he handed Kanzaki a piece of paper

"That's a letter of approval!!! With that you can move into the polar Dormitory" said Oliver

"Dormitory?" Asked Kanzaki seemingly confused

"Yes! And with that you'll be able to train with an official member of the Chaos Breakers..." exclaimed Oliver as he smirked

"Train? Are you sure it's not torture? And with a official member at that and speaking off a Dormitory!!!???" Reasoned Kanzaki

"Well you better start packing and move into the Dormitory" said Oliver clearly stating that he doesn't care

"Man my whole lifestyle just changed just like that"said kanzaki dejectedly

"Oh yeah!!! Sanaguchi here will be your commanding officer starting from now on.... Be sure to greet him with honorifics" Oliver pointed out

"Uh! Yeah! Please take care of me" bowed Kanzaki

"Yes! Please take care of me too" replied Sanaguchi

"Right! Right! You both should get along! Hahahaha!" Laughed by Oliver

[30 minutes later]

The cab arrived at the seaside harbor where the Dormitory was located

"Well we're here! Isn't this great? It's 20 minutes away from your school and 30 minutes away from the H.Q if you take a cab that is" proclaimed Sanaguchi

"This is a harbor right? How come there's a Dormitory built in a harbor it's totally out of place" Kanzaki pointed out

"It's a personal reason" said Sanaguchi

"There's the Dormitory" announced by Sanaguchi

The building was a two store building and designed in a crude way similar to ships

"Alright! I'm going home!!!" Said Kanzaki trying to escape reality

"Wait! Wait! Wait! I know it isn't much to look at but you shouldn't judge a book by its cover" cried Sanaguchi pulling Kanzaki

"That thing I clearly not a place for people to live at" shouted Kanzaki

"How rude!!! But I assure you that someday you like it here" cried Sanaguchi

A moment later after Sanaguchi successfully persuaded Kanzaki to look inside, Kanzaki was left speechless by the interior design

It's design is completely different from the outside

"Welcome... Hah..... To polar Dormitory... Hah" said Sanaguchi gasping

Kanzaki was amazed by its interior design and furniture design

"I'm impressed" exclaimed Kanzaki

"Currently there are two boys and 2 girls living here" said Sanaguchi

"This is a mixed Dormitory?" Asked Kanzaki

"Well yeah.... But the other pair is out on a mission

"Ah! Is that so..." Said Kanzaki

While Kanzaki was looking around two people climbed down the stairs

"Huh? A new member?"

"Looks like it"

Said by the boy and the girl

The boy has a spiky hair wearing a white shirt and jeans with glasses

While the girl is wearing a sweater and a mini skirt

"Hey guys introduce yourselves" said Sanaguchi

"Hey! Names Lee Jinwoo I'm your senior" said Jinwoo

"My name is Ai Cheng nice to meet you" said Ai

"My name's Jhin Kanzaki pleasure to meet you" replied Kanzaki

"The other two are out on a mission but I think that having them introduce themselves is better" said Jinwoo

"Oh that's fine" said Kanzaki

As they finished their greetings, Sanaguchi interrupted them

"Kanzaki here is going to take the test to join the Chaos Breakers three months from now!"

"Oh! So hes not officially a member yet" said Jinwoo

"Bummer" added Ai

"But don't worry the Head Chief I confident that Kanzaki can pass the test... We just need to train him so that he can become strong enough to pass the practical test" explained Sanaguchi

As Sanaguchi said this Jinwoo immediately realized what he means

"Well I'll be....." Said Jinwoo as he tries to escape

"Jinwoo!!! You'll train him" declared Sanaguchi

"What!? No?" Jinwoo immediately rejected

"If you don't then good luck on finding a new livelihood"threatened Sanaguchi

"Wait what!? Fine! Fine! I'll do it"said Jinwoo accepting the task

"Fufufu! Serves you right" smirked Ai as she teased Jinwoo

"And Ai you'll be his supporter during training" added Sanaguchi

"Eh!?" Said Ai dumbfounded

"Hahaha! If I go.... You go too" laughed Jinwoo

"You stupid blockhead" yelled Ai as she tries to kill Jinwoo

"Well.... This will be your future teammates if you pass..... I'm sorry for their behavior" apologized Sanaguchi

"Right I'll manage somehow ehehehe!" Laughed aside by Kanzaki not too sure about his future

As Sanaguchi returned to the H.Q, Jinwoo and Ai showed Kanzaki his room

"We will call you if we're done with the preparations" said Jinwoo

"Ah ok" replied Kanzaki

"See ya later rookie" said Jinwoo

"Bye-bye!" Said Ai

As Kanzaki arranged his stuff and wondered around his room he looked out his window only seeing the vast ocean

"This will be my first step to becoming strong enough to protect the people I care the most" thought Kanzaki to himself

As Kanzaki spends time in his own room minutes passed and finally Jinwoo called out to him to come out of the Dormitory

"Are you sure it's fine to train in the harbor" asked Kanzaki

"Of course it's fine! Totally fine!" Replied Jinwoo

"After Ai installed kanzaki's data in her PC she gave him a bracelet

"Here wear this.... It will keep track of your body's status and send it back to my PC, you can also use it for communications" said Ai

"Are you sure!? I might break it" said Kanzaki trying to confirm Ai's declaration

"Don't worry that's just temporary! The real one is a pin that you have to put in your collar!... If you pass that is" stated Ai

As Kanzaki pondered on this Jinwoo stated

"Ai is a supporter she keeps track of the person's she's in charge off! Raising the survivability of the users in the battlefield as for us users we are the one in the frontlines with the military"

"I... I see" said Kanzaki

"Shall we begin?" Asked Jinwoo

"Yes" replied Kanzaki

Immediately Jinwoo activated his eye changing it's color to glowing brown and instantly Mana begun to gather around him

Seeing that Kanzaki also activated his eye changing it's color to glowing blue and Mana started to gather around him too

"Ho! So you know how to activate your eye" said Jinwoo clearly impressed

"Of course I've been using this for a long time before ever joining this organization" said Kanzaki

"By the way the reason why were training off the bat here is because you have three months to prepare for the practical test and believe me that timeframe you have left is not enough to make you stronger than an average Chaos Eye user..... So for me to know your limitations were going to spat in a hand to hand combat" explained Jinwoo

"I understand" replied Kanzaki

At the moment Kanzaki finished saying that Jinwoo instantly disappeared

"He disappeared? No it's the same as that person I need to use my ability"

As Kanzaki used his foresight he immediately raised his right arm to his face to block Jinwoo attack

[Bang!!!]

A sound vibrated as Jinwoo kick mad contact to Kanzaki arm

Kanzaki was pushed back from that attack

"Such..... Such power!" He thought

"Hmm? Your slow to react even though I intentionally slowed my movement" wondered Jinwoo

"Your expectations are too high senpai!" Said Kanzaki

"Hoh! He said it one of the Japanese words trademark he called me senpai!!! Did you hear that Ai?" Said Jinwoo clearly amazed

"Go to hell!!!" Replied Ai clearly irritated

"Well as your senpai I won't hold back!" Declared Jinwoo

"Won't hold back? My arm hurts damn it! I can't even feel it! This is bad really bad" thought Kanzaki afraid of what's comes next

At that moment Jinwoo immediately dashed off to him clearly skipping their wide gap in distance

At the same time since kanzaki's foresight is still active he hurriedly stepped back sideway to dodge Jinwoo

When Jinwoo missed him he immediately twisted his body to land a kick on his head but Kanzaki foresaw this and jumped backwards

When jinwoo's kick hits the floor the ground instantly explode from the pressure and when the smoke cleared a huge crack was clearly visible there as daylight

"I see your ability is not evade it's foresight.... Am I right?" Jinwoo pointed out

"What!?" Exclaimed Kanzaki

"Because if your ability is evasion you wouldn't have blocked my first attack and that time I did the kick... you moved seconds faster than me which conclude that you can somehow see the future right?" Explained Jinwoo

"All that from just a few exchange?" Thought Kanzaki

With that exchange it was already clear just how much the difference in experience they both have

While both are the same users but the way they think and utilize their ability is completely different

"Hoh! That's a first in our Dormitory.... A non-combatant ability wants to fight in the frontlines" exclaimed Ai

"But if used well it can prove really troublesome" reasoned Jinwoo

"That's true" added Ai

"Alright no more breaks and talk I won't be stopping next time" said Jinwoo excitedly

"Ai is the recovery pills ready?" Asked Jinwoo

"Yup there here.... Both of you can go all out" replied Ai

"Wait what's the recovery pills for?" Asked Kanzaki worriedly

"Ah that's for in case your bone breaks" answered Jinwoo

"What?" Shouted Kanzaki

"Here I come!" Announced Jinwoo

"Wait! Wait! Wait! AHHHHHHH!!!"

[CRACK!]

And with that their training continues

[Shanghai, China]

In a ruined city of Shanghai, two silhouettes are clashing each other in the shadows

[Cling!]

[Clang!]

[Explosion sound]

"Hmmp!! Reacted the person as he swung sideways his huge sword at the chaos being

[Crash!!]

the moment the chaos being dodge his attack it counterattack by slicing his stomach

"Kekeke!!!"

(His laughing at you.... You know!!!) Said the girl voice in his comms

"It's quite annoying actually" said the person

As the both of them is talked the chaos being dashed off to them to instant kill the person

But the moment the chaos being attacked the person immediately surrounds himself in a whirling flame tornado

The moment the chaos being touched the flame  it instantly engulfed it in  flames

The chaos being cried in Agony as it tried to putt off the fire

"This thing clearly underestimated me" said the person

As the chaos being saw the person approached him in a calmly manner it begun to use the shadow to escape

(Oh! It's using that skill again.... It will escape you the second time) said the girl

"I won't let that happen" declared the person

Immediately the person pierced the ground and release it's flame

"Destroy!" He murmured

In the next moment all the buildings near him collapsed and the ground near him explodes

Due to this the chaos being was thrown into the air

The person didn't let go of this opportunity he used the falling debris as a stepping stone and immediately dashed off to the creature slicing its body into two

As the person finished off the chaos being his comms started to speak up

(You just overdid it) said the girl

"I have no choice it was going to escape and this place is abandoned there will be no casualties" reasoned the person

(Whatever but at least we finished the job early right Ryu?) Said the girl inside a room filled with screen monitoring Ryu's condition

"Do what you want" replied Ryu the person standing at the ruined Shanghai and the one who saved Kanzaki at the past

Occupation: Captain in the Chaos Breakers

Skill: Destruction

Status: Chaos Eye user/ member of Polar Dormitory

"Let's heading back" said Ryu

(Roger that) replied Jessica
