Chapter 53: [Strength Of Manifestation II]

In the dead of the night when everyone has fallen asleep, for some reason everytime Ryuuji closes his eyes he would dream about the Manifestation of Greg's weapon right in front of her

Whenever he would think about this, he always thought of what would his weapon would look like when it manifested, but soon he easily shrugged this thought as he soon realized that in order to do that he will need to be stronger

This time he haven't even landed one decent strike against Greg, if he want to become stronger he need to be atleast to contend against him

Thinking about this problem on his own, Ryuuji soon shook his head off of this ideas and force himself to take a rest, since his body is already battered up, it is only natural that takes a break

The next day when Ryuuji attended and appeared before Greg to let him know that he's ready to train again, the latter's actually came to him in an unexpected manner

"Nope! No can do! I know you wanted to become stronger in a short amount of time, but we just can't skip everything... . . Everything has a process and this rest is one of them" said Greg

After taking a deep sigh Greg continued

"As I'm saying... . . We shouldn't force ourselves to improve immediately, our body needs rest since you yourself knows better your body condition is... . . Even if we let someone who is an expert of body checking check your bodies, I'm purely sure that his conclusion will be like my conclusion"

"And that is?... . . " Asked Ryuuji

"Your body is sore... . . Your body is sore due to the training... . . "

Hearing this even Ryuuji himself couldn't refute it since he can clearly feel his muscles ache in pain in random times, with this assumptions he soon realized that perhaps Greg has clearly known about this and thus made such decision

"I know training is good but we shouldn't force ourselves... . . Take your time, spend your money around the little city here in Hawaii and maybe.just maybe get some encouragement to start manifesting your weapon" said Greg as he took a juice drink that was squeezed until its pulp was visible

With this Ryuuji soon concede as he respectfully bowed his head and left the area leaving Greg alone with James as the bodyguard beside him

When they were.leftbalone Greg asked James

"So what do you think?"

"I think your decision is wise, if he doesn't know how to balance the pressure of his body, I'm afraid that his body would collapse and break due to exhaustion... . . It's good if he could take a break or two" answered James as he continued his non-emotional face

"I see we arrived at the same thought" said Greg as he took another sip from his drink

Given time to spend most of his time today to rest and enjoy the island, Ryuuji soon picked to enjoy atleast the life on this island that was untouched by the apocalypse

Due to this islands far geographical location from the mainland, it was actually one of the few places that was untouched by the apocalypse that happened years ago, making this as the safe haven of the refugee's

Even if that was the case veteran user's who already retired from work, would gather on this island making it seems like the elites gathering, with that the island of Hawaii was Soon deducted as one of the most fortified places on Earth since it's numbers of elite user's are retiring here

Of course Ryuuji could easily confirm this, since he was sensitive to mana flow he can clearly see the Mana of a person, making it apparent to him whether one is a user or not

What he found that is astonished him

Apparently the moment he left until he arrived at some restaurants near the beach area, he found atleast the ten user already that has an incredible aura from the beginning and as strong as the elites on other bases, well this opinion was purely based on him

As his order was placed in front of him, he himself could see the steak that he ordered was still sizzling hot, after waiting for a while he took a huge juicy bite off it and carefully reminiscence it's taste around it's mouth and this in turn really turned on his appetite

Since his red hair has been unkept after this few days and has already reached the length when someone might mistake him for a girl, he soon decided to ask for a string to tie his hair up into a ponytail

When he did this he even felt refreshing from his back along down to his neck, luckily even thought his hair is long, it wasn't messy at all as he easily tied it and arrange it in a smooth manner

After taking a break at the restaurant he soon went to a department store and brought some pair of clothes, but as he did this he would always be in a daze as he thought about the power of manifestation

He sometimes imagined Ifrit to be fire god in a form of a human figure, if he could master such technique then he would become much stronger than before

When he was still in a daze the saleswoman that is somewhat the same age as Ryuuji noticed his dilemna and thought that Ryuuji might be contemplating on what to buy

In order to appease him, the saleswoman did her job to assist her customer

When she approached him, she thought at first that the customer was a woman because of its smooth tied back hair that goes along its back

She must have thought of him as a woman with a flat chested figure, but when she got close to him and asked if he was okay apparently Ryuuji replied with a deep tone that surprised her and immediately backed away as if she wronged him

"Ah! My apologies!!! I thought you were a girl because your hair was smooth and long" she apologized

Hearing that Ryuuji soon shrugged her words as he said

"Well I'm used to it... . . Don't mind about it, by the way what do you want? Why did you approach me?" Asks Ryuuji

Immediately the saleswoman replied

"Well the thing is I saw you in a daze so I deducted that maybe perhaps your were contemplating on what to buy, as a saleswoman it's my duty to serve the customers so I gallantly appraoched you to help you at choosing" she answered

Hearing that Ryuuji soon understood why she initially approached him

"I see... . . Well it's partly my fault, I was in a deep thought... . . So please be at ease, k meant no harm" said Ryuuji

Apparently he also.noticed that for some reason the way he handles strangers also changed as he noticed that he was being humble to a person he just met

He soon deducted that training with Greg might be the reason for this change

After that he asked the saleswoman

"What's your name?"

Immediately she answered

"... . . Iris!... . . My name is Iris!!!"

"Luckily I have recognized your presence! Congratulations!!!" Said Ryuuji haughtily as he soon reverted to his old self

"... . . I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or an insult" muttered Iris

"Take it as a compliment... . . I insist" insisted Ryuuji

"... . . I... . . See... . ."
