Hiding in his own base that only him knew, Argie was busy on doing something and researching something as the commotion broke out in someplace else

Currently he was inside his room reading some of the thick books in which he has questions upon together with the girl child that he kidnapped in California

For some reason the girl child named Claire was quite a curious little child which was understandable on her own case as a person who spent most of her time inside a white room

Soon after just as he closes the book that he was reading, Claire however noticed Argie's movements thus she automatically closed her own book that she was reading and headed straight to him

Seeing this Argie couldn't help but have a heavy sigh as he walk over the desk and lazily dropped the book on top of it

With that he turned around as he headed straight for his lab

But after walking awhile Claire suddenly took a hold of the Hem of his coat

"Can... I come?" She asked him nicely

Hearing that Argie arched up into a smile as he replied

"Well it's perfect I was about to call you later on but it seemed that you wanted to come with me... . . Well anyway it saves me time to go back here" shrugged Argie as he allowed her to follow him

Hearing that Claire somehow felt happy all of the sudden as she hurriedly tidied all things up

After tydying it she eventually come with him towards his lab

When they got there the very first thing Claire saw were tubes after tubes container littering the table, followed by stuff that is used by many things of the scientist in the past

After that they were also five containers each containing different types of chimera that he himself has designed and created

But the most eye catching of all is the huge spherical sphere container in which it was covered at the back of five tube container

This particular container somehow was containing a human like chimera that was out of this world even for a madman like Argie himself

At first Claire was curious about this chimera but soon lost interest as such body didn't even move an eyelid, for her reading books was much more interesting than looking at an artificial body which has no soul in it

Afterwards Argie came over as he pulled a needle from the drawer

"Oi brat! I want you to sit, I'm going to get some blood from you" said Argie

"Blood? Why?" Asked Claire

"Of course to see if there is actually cause and effect if I did some sort of my own personal theory" he said while fixing the injection

"Will it hurt?" she asked

"Do you feel hurt when being pricked?" Asked back Argie

"Nope! I've lost my sense of touch after being pricked by a lot of those things" answered Claire honestly

"Then you won't feel a little bit hurt" said Argie nonchalantly

After that he pricked the needle on her arm and took some substantial amount of blood as he pulled it out and went over his desk

After being curious about such process Claire suddenly spoke up as she asked

"Why does people like my blood? My blood doesn't even taste good! I once tried to lick my own blood but it task like a rusted metal" said Claire

"Well of course it tasted metal! Blood has iron that made it taste like that" said argie as he didn't took off his eyesight on the experiment that he's doing

"So if you please..."

With that Argie went silent leaving Claire hum in a silence and all by herself

As Claire was busying herself by trying to do entertaining stuff, Argie however was as focused as someone who was about to meet a breakthrough

When he looked at her blood, at first he thought that such plates were normal in any sense but after he applied foreign entity on it, the blood on Claire's plate however start d reacting violently as it absorbed the essence of the foreign entity this killing it

"Wait! Can such thing happen?" He thought to himself

After seeing this Argie couldn't help but sigh a little as he found out that every pore of this little girl was like a dangerous bomb that might kill him one day

At that thought he suddenly heard tremors that alerted him at some point but didn't bother with it afterwards as it was only natural since he was being searched thoroughly by the organization

Far from him Ryuuji somehow was leaning on a huge boulder as he took out his phone and started talking with the guys over it

("Hey! How's it going over there?") Asked Jinwoo

"Nothing much but I did get ambushed by this huge centipede like creatures" answered Ryuuji

("Well that's good to hear, well anyway you going solo there right?") He asked

"Nope!" Answered Ryuuji

Hearing that Jinwoo seemed to remember something

("Ah! Right I forgot that your just accompanying someone... Well anyway the danger it still there lurking so be careful") advised Jinwoo

"Don't worry about me, what about you guys? How's your vacation in your hometown? Are the guys okay?"

("More or less, bit were trying to make use the most of it, after all we got a week left before our vacation ends") answered Jinwoo

"Is that so? Then I better get going, tell the guys I said hi" said Ryuuji

("No problemo!") Saluted Jinwoo as he hang the call

After that Ryuuji flipped his phone close and head straight to his tent when Greg who have been listening to the conversation was somehow staring out to him

"What do you want? Just spit it out" he demanded

"Are you sure about that? Well anyway! Who did you call? Your fiance?" Teased Greg

"Fiance my ass! Those were my teammates back home" retorted Ryuuji

After hearing that Greg suddenly was lost in his thoughts as he realized that he misunderstood everything

"Ah! Sorry about that,I knew that you have difficulty on socializing that your attitude always turn sour" teased Greg

"Oi! Do you want me to burn you?" Threatened Ryuuji

"You always say that but yet here I am!!! Fine and haven't burned to death yet" said Greg as he spreads his arms wide as if saying that he's completely fine

"Your talking nonsense! just spit it out"

"Nothing much but I hope that you'll be able to stay like that!" Advised Greg as he once again turned serious

Seeing that sudden change of attitude, Ryuuji couldn't help but twitch the corner of his mouth

"What are you on about?" Shrugged Ryuuji

"Oh! You fully knows what I'm on about! After all in this cycle of fighting this type of creatures bears a risk"

"Risk?"

"Yes! If your lax you will loose everything" said Greg

After that he continued

"I'm just like you in the past you know, aloof, arrogant but kind, and reliable... But the thing is even though I have those kinds of traits, if was still all meaningless if I'm weak... Due to my weakness I was forced to see my friends die In front of my eyes" said Greg

"But I'm strong! You don't have to worry about it"

"I know that your strong, but the world doesn't revolve on you alone, there are.a lot of stronger enemies out there much more stronger than me... I'm just saying that there will be always someone on top of you whenever you feel like your in the peek"

"Is that so? But nevertheless I will still improve to be stronger than before cause that's how I roll" said Ryuuji

"Well I'm looking forward to it!"

"Absolutely!"
