Chapter 68: [The Girl Named Claire]

In one particular day in a particular time, there was a family of three, which both the father and the mother has only one particular female child In their arms

They never lived poor nor do they lived in a rich way, in fact you could say that they were just your ordinary average family

The father only managed to graduate of highschool, while the mother was only able to graduate in a middle school, but with hard work and determination they were able to get through the times and lived out a decent lives

They're house wasn't that big nor small in fact they somehow loved in a one compacted apartment for three people that was somehow also serves as a dorm for the students at it's second floor

The father was working as a ordinary salary man while the mother on the other hand manage to get money by working in a small eatery for half a day

Even though both parents are different, and both parents have status in life that is hard for them to get a decent well payed life, there is one thing that they both agreed on despite all of this hardship in life and that was Claire their very own daughter whom is the reason they wanted to strive further

One day after recieving a bonus pay from his company, the father became immediately elated as he looked at the amount of bonus he had inside the envelope

Very quickly he went home after the day is done while rejecting any form of invitation for him to join they're blowout party

For him the most important thing was the smile on her daughters face

When he got home after being elated for awhile, he first came towards his wife and immediately hugged her the moment she greeted him, after that he lifted her while spinning around slowly

Due to this the mother got the gist of it that something good must have happened in order for the father of the family to be so elated when he got home

With that she asked the person himself on what made him so elated this day

Without any hesitation the father immediately talked about what happened in his company and how much money he recieved

Due to it's success on one of its project followed up by a great profit for the company, the company itself soon gave out bonus for all the employee that has worked themselves to death just for the succession of the project they were currently working on

After explaining it to the mother, the woman herself nodded as if agreeing

Followed that the father immediately dived down and picked up little Claire that became joyful the moment she got picked up by her father

Using the bonus they recieved the father soon took out his family to go to a amusement park just for her daughter's sake of experiencing childhood life

Of course the little Claire was so happy as she saw many big structures and including the many people while also seeing wild children that formed a group and started chasing around the Parks mascot

Of course as a child little Claire was also attracted by the colorful mascot, at this time little Claire was somehow just a young three years old, In which both of her parents were survivors of the catastrophe that happened 10 years from the main storyline

Naturally they engaged in many kind of activities as they goes around enjoying rides from left to right

By then time noon gets by something occured unexpectedly while they were riding a ferry's wheel

A crack appeared om the ground followed by a break out of few monsters inside the sheltered City

As soon the monsters got out for a crack in the voided space, they started rampaging as they kept killing from left to right

Of course since it's a huge place there would be naturally users who will be guarding the place thus after a few killing they both started going at each other

Due to the fight however one of the monsters broke the beam pillar that was supporting the wheel from it's sides causing it to stand straight, but upon it's destruction the ferry's wheel naturally feel to its side while multiple people are still inside a certain specific cart

As it crashed a huge explosion naturally occur causing the wheel to be destroyed into a unnoticeable change

Due to it's fall the father who was the protector of the family sacrificed his life in order to save his daughter from the fall using his body as a cushion underneath, due to that of him recieving all the damage, he eventually died the moment he landed

With that little Claire became frantic as she tried to wake her father up but couldn't

After that she suddenly heard her mother's call not far from them, thus she went over but when she did she soon found her underneath a iron beam which crushed her bones in her pelvic while also gotten herself stab in her guts, added to that by her fall

After carrassing her daughter's hair for awhile, the mother eventually broke into tears as she breath her last, due to that's complicated emotions and being a child little Claire who knew little of the world also cried as she tried to wake her parents that died from that incident

Due to her crying rescuers soon found her and immediately came to her aid while also announcing her orphan status in the sign of both of her parents were killed, during that time of sorrow a female nurse that was free was the one taking care of her by calming her down

After that for some reason the nurse also got curious at the dead corpse of a monster nearby so she somehow slowly walked over from a distance as she watched the users on how they will handle the carcass

Of course with the mistake of one particular user by stabbing something that seemed to be gloated, a spray of blood naturally spread out causing it's purple blood to spread and landed everywhere, of course both the nurs and little Claire got drenched by its could smell of blood, luckily both Clair and the nurse managed to close their eyes in time but for some reason Clair failed to close her mouth causing her to have the taste of its blood through its lips

After some time however in a hospital, a scientist immediately went over as he want d to check some patient when it's gaze landed on little Claire from a bench while holding a cat

At first he didn't mind if but as soon as one nurse screamed all attention finally went to the child and what the scientist saw stunned him

Little Claire who was holding a cat somehow made the cat wriggle as it's life got sucked dry out of its body causing it to die while being in her grasp

Soon the dead cat dropped dead on the ground which caused a shriek from the nurse that took care of her

Out of worry little Claire went over to the cat and tried to wake the cat up by shaking it

Soon compared to the previous black aura coming out from her hands, a light color eventually showed up as it enveloped the dead cat while bringing it back to life after few seconds

Upon discovering the ability to control life and death the scientist eventually looked at the child and say her glowing grey eyes which indicated that little Claire has been morphed into a user at such a young and tender age

Without any hesitation the scientist immediately took on the paperworks needed and took custody of the child and bringing her to California, thus where she will live until she turns 8yrs old

By that year something new happens to her everyday life as the lab got broke into and took her out from the laboratory and bringing her outside the wall

Thus where the story continues to the current situation
