Chapter 7: [Destruction vs Foresight]

[Seaside Harbor, Grandora City]

"Don't think about running away" shouted Ryuuji

"What the? I thought we were going to use iron rods?" Complained Kanzaki

"No we're going for the real thing now" said Ryuuji as he grow irritated

Ryuuji and Kanzaki are having a match by the harbor but for some circumstances Ryuuji can't accept that he's being pushed back by some nobody

"This is dangerous! Ryuuji completely snapped" cried Jessica

"So he sorted it by bringing out Ifrit? Is he a child to throw a tantrum like that?" Added Ai

"No it's he's pride" corrected Jinwoo "he himself who thought that nobody can beat him was pushed back just like that!!! It must have hurt his pride"

"But that's not enough reason to release Ifrit right?" Asks Ai

"Ryuuji has Ifrit and that guy has what? A rod? What can a rod do to Ifrit?" Asks Jessica

"Ai get that sword now!" Ordered Jinwoo

When Ai heard this she immediately understood what Jinwoo meant and headed straight into the dormitory

As the three of them were doing that, Ryuuji himself prepared to attack

When Jinwoo noticed Ryuuji about to attack he shouted

"Ryuuji stop it!!!"

"Shut up!" Shouted back Ryuuji

"Ryuuji don't make me repeat myself or else..." Threatened Jinwoo as he released he glared at Ryuuji

"Or else what? Both of us know who's going to win if both of us clashed right?!" Declared Ryuuji

As Ryuuji said this Jinwoo stepped down but suggested something

"Fine! but at least wait till this kid have a proper weapon"

"You expect me to wait? In a battlefield the opponent won't wait for you to prepare" argued Ryuuji

"Don't argue with me, you yourself should know that you are also weak once!" Jinwoo argued back

"Are you trying to defend him?" Said Ryuuji as he glared at Jinwoo

"Even if all my bones were to be broken my answer will be yes!" Replied Jinwoo as he glared back

As both of them glared at each other Ai came back with a sword and gave it to Jinwoo

When Jinwoo received the sword he then passed it to Kanzaki and said

"Here use this it's a katana"

"Sorry for the trouble Jinwoo senpai" apologized Kanzaki

"If you want to apologize then show me how much you improved" said Jinwoo as he smiled

"Roger!" Replied Kanzaki

As both Kanzaki and Ryuuji took their sides, Ryuuji shouted

"No holding back!"

When he Kanzaki heard this, he knows that Ryuuji will go all out in this fight

Seeing that both of them ready Jinwoo released the signal

"START!"

When they heard this, both of them activated their eyes simultaneously

Causing a huge amount of Mana to gather in one place

Kanzaki eyes instantly changed to glowing blue and bluish Mana surrounded his body

While Ryuuji's eye changed to glowing red and a violent reddish Mana gathered around him making flames around him visible

"Kuh! You can already see the difference of strength and experience when comparing their transformation" remarked Jessica

"We have no choice but to see how this play out!" Said Jinwoo as he stayed calm

As both Ryuuji and Kanzaki took their stance, Kanzaki crouched down to give himself a pushed for when he charged

When Kanzaki finished his stance he launched himself straight at Ryuuji

As Ryuuji saw Kanzaki headed for him he muttered

"Break!"

Instantly Ryuuji's surroundings explodes creating a chain reaction to other floor and exploding themselves in the process

Due to this Kanzaki was thrown back with such great force and crashed to the ground

When Ryuuji saw Kanzaki fell to the floor he immediately grabbed his sword and jumped high enough to land atop of Kanzaki

The moment Kanzaki saw Ryuuji he used his foresight to dodge his landing

At the moment Kanzaki dodged Ryuuji's descent, Ryuuji immediately swung his sword Ifrit sideways but Kanzaki blocked his attack with a katana and resulted to him crashing to a pile of wooden boxes

"Guhah!" Cried Kanzaki as he endured the pain and numbness from the attack

"Stand up!" Said Ryuuji as he swung down his sword Ifrit making a wave of flames headed straight to Kanzaki

At that time Kanzaki used his foresight to foresaw this so he immediately stood up and rolled left to dodge the attack and dashed straight to Ryuuji

When Kanzaki arrived infront of Ryuuji he gave him a series of slashes

Slash, Side slash, Vertical slash, Upward slash, Side slash, Side slash, Diagonal slash

But Ryuuji easily blocked his attack

When Kanzaki finished his attack Ryuuji put his foot forward and counter attacked with a huge slash

[Explosion sound]

A huge explosion vibrated as Ryuuji attack made contact with kanzaki's katana when he tried to block it

Expecting that Kanzaki was thrown back Ryuuji fixed his position

But contrary to his expectation Kanzaki successfully blocked his attack by crouching down behind the sword, with this he supported the sword with his weight successfully blocking the attack

"Insane! This kid is insane" muttered Jinwoo

"That guy might actually survive" said Jessica

"Go! Go!" Cheered Ai

They said this as tension from the fight increases

Seeing his attack has been blocked Ryuuji raises his sword Ifrit and hammered it down to Kanzaki

While at the same time kanzaki held the katana up with both of hands and supported it with his body to withstand the attack resulting to sink a little into the ground

Seeing his attack Being blocked for a second time, Ryuuji raises his sword Ifrit up again and aggressively slammed it down to kanzaki, and raising it up again and slamming it down, thus he keeps repeating it over and over again pinning Kanzaki to the ground

Noticing that Ryuuji doesn't want to stop hammering him with it's attack Kanzaki slowly was getting cornered

"Damn he won't stop! Does he intend to bury me?" Kanzaki complained in his mind

"I need to concentrate! his using a huge sword that means that his sword must weight a lot..... So if I can make his swords trajectory move a little... I can make him miss" thought Kanzaki while being pinned down by Ryuuji

As seconds went by Ryuuji became restless and raises his sword Ifrit and slam it down with his full force

"Now!!!" signaled Kanzaki in his mind

The moment the two swords made contact Kanzaki immediately made Ifrit slide through the katana redirecting it's trajectory

[Crash]

A loud crash vibrated as Ifrit hits the ground just beside kanzaki's foot

Not losing any momentum Kanzaki immediately attacked with a side swipe aiming at Ryuuji's face

Before kanzaki's attack hit him Ryuuji instinctually let go of his sword and bend his back backwards resulting to dodging kanzaki's fatal attack by a hairs thread

"Wha?...." Said everyone

Kanzaki wasn't the only one shocked, it also shocked Ryuuji himself, Jinwoo, Ai, Jessica leaving the three spectators gaping with their mouth wide open

Recovering from the shock Ryuuji supported his weight with his right hand and uppercut Kanzaki with his left hand

[Bang!]

Seeing his uppercut hit Kanzaki Ryuuji immediately did a spinning kick to push Kanzaki away giving distance to both of them

After seconds passed by, Kanzaki was finally able to recover from the kick and made his stance again

Seeing Kanzaki didn't gave up yet Ryuuji smiled in excitement

"That's it! Don't hold back! Give me everything you got into this fight"

Upon saying this Ryuuji immediately dashes towards Kanzaki giving relentless assault on him

"Concentrate you don't have to block his attack you just need to divert it elsewhere and counter him" thought Kanzaki motivating himself

As the two charged at each other both of them made countless relentless attack, dodge, miss, and block repeating it over and over again

[Cling!]

[Crash!!!]

As the two swords clash with each other the spectators was left with no words to describe the moment

"He's actually a genius isn't he? Instead of blocking the attack he instead redirecting Ryu's attack to make him miss" commented Jessica

"I can't believe that's the same guy yesterday! What happened to him overnight?" Asks Ai

"He may be lacking in experience but he's using his opponents weight against themselves making it more favorable for him" added Jinwoo

As the three were talking to each other, Ryuuji stabbed the ground and released a surge of Mana

"Hey he's using Ifrit's attack now" said Ai

"No your wrong he's using both his ability and Ifrit's attack" corrected Jinwoo

"Since you survived this long I'll show you what my ability combined with Ifrit's ability looks like" announced Ryuuji

As he stabbed the ground Ryuuji yelled

"First layer fire dragon"

When Ryuuji said this, six fire dragon appeared beneath Ryuuji feet and attacked Kanzaki

"What the heck are those" complained Kanzaki as he dodged the dragons

As the fire dragons continued it's assault on kanzaki, he himself continued using his foresight to dodge the dragons until it cornered him

With no way out Kanzaki was left with only one option

"Damn it! It's do or die now"

The time Kanzaki muttered this Kanzaki slashed the fire dragons with his katana

The moment his katana made contact with the fire dragons a huge explosion occured

[Explosion sound]

As a result Kanzaki was thrown back to the wall with his sword broken

"The sword! It broke!" Shouted Ai seeing the sword snapped into two

"Not yet" muttered Ryuuji

"Second layer explosive barrage"

At the same time Ryuuji said this Kanzaki immediately escaped from his position and grabbed a iron plate

By the time he made a run for it a huge explosion rung out from his former position

But it didn't end there the explosion followed wherever Kanzaki went

[Boom!]

The moment Kanzaki stopped his running he immediately stepped on the iron plate

"What's he doing?" Asks Jessica

"Don't tell me!!!" Muttered Jinwoo as he realized what Kanzaki was doing

In the next moment a huge explosion occured where Kanzaki was

[Boom!]

Thinking that it's over Ryuuji lets go of Ifrit

But the moment he let go of Ifrit, Kanzaki himself emerges from the smoke above him and slashed with what's remaining of his sword

Due to that surprise attack Ryuuji was inflicted with a damage in his arm

"Ahhhh!!!" He shouted

The moment Kanzaki lands to the ground he fixed his position again and made an attempt to attack Ryuuji at close range

While at the same time Ryuuji gritted his teeth and grabbed ifrit again and slammed his sword at Kanzaki much faster than before, resulting to him propelling Kanzaki away

"What? What just happened?" Asks Ai as the event occured for only just a moment and the next thing she know Ryuuji is injured and Kanzaki was propelled back

"Everything happened in an instant! It so fast!" Added Jessica

"How can he improve so much by just one night? Is it because of his unknown second ability that Sanaguchi told us about?" Thought Jinwoo

As they thought this Kanzaki himself was laid flat into the floor cannot even move a single muscle

"Hah!.... Hah!..... Hah!..... Damn it!..... Hah!.....Hah!....." Muttered Kanzaki as he catches his breath

While Kanzaki was resting Ryuuji declared

"Hahahaha!.... This is the first time someone ever injured me be grateful"

He said that while panting

"As a reward I'll show you Ifrit's third layer" he added

When the Jinwoo, Ai, and Jessica heard this they panicked and tried to stop Ryuuji

"You idiot! Do you want us all dead?" Shouted Jessica

"Oi! Oi! Oi! Stop what your doing?" Shouted Jinwoo

"We won't make it!" Shouted Ai

As they tried to stop Ryuuji, the person in topic stabbed Ifrit into the floor again and said

"Their layer armagedd...."

Before he could finish what he was saying someone shouted from the harbors entrance

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE!?"
