Of course meeting with an unknown kid made Ryuuji playthrough different scenarios in his head, he kept imagining the life the kid would have outside the walls protection

But after seeing the kids with his own two eyes again, he couldn't help but shrugged hi previous thought away, as what important now is the future

Soon after he suddenly heard an unexpected sound that came from the little girl kid,a grumbling of the stomach to be exact

After hearing it the Claire suddenly blushed as she felt embarrassed from having someone notice that

"I... I... I can explain" stuttered Claire

Seeing that Ryuuji couldn't help but chuckle at that stuttering

"No need to be so embarrassed, there's nothing to be embarrassed in the first place, having your stomach grumbling means that your hungry... Then all you have to do is eat" said Ryuuji

After that Ryuuji rummaged through his pocket and was able to take atleast a small candy out of his pocket

"I know it's not much but here take it, it's better than nothing" said Ryuuji as he handed the candy to Claire

With that Claire took the candy then immediately opened it's wrap before eating it

At that Ryuuji slowly sits down on one pile of rocks and stabbed his sword to the ground

As for Claire she suddenly glimpse at Ryuuji's sword and was immediately enthralled by it

"Whoa!!! Can I?..."

Of course Ryuuji knew what she meant so without further ado he allowed her to admire Ifrit

When Claire got close to the sword, she suddenly felt the blazing heat surrounding it as she continued to approach it, soon after her gaze started to get blurry due to the heat that the sword was releasing as it special trait

"This sword it's weird" said Claire

"Of course its weird after all it is not an ordinary sword that you can find anywhere, that thing is unique and only can be used by me myself" said Ryuuji

"Why?" Asked Claire

"Simple I got two reasons... First is that this things temperature are only appropriate for myself as i have the same affinity with it, making it more like I'm the only one who can use it, second is that this thing weights more than it looks" said Ryuuji

"Huh? I don't understand"

"Of course you don't, what I'm saying is that the weight of this sword is something that is heavy for other wielders, while it's easy for the person who use it"

"Wow so your saying that this thing can change its weight? Such convenient sword" praised Claire

"By the way! Your name is Claire if I remember correct"

"Yes"

"Then call me Ryuuji"

"Alright Ryuuji onii-Chan"

Hearing that Ryuuji suddenly felt chills all over as he ignored it and looked at the horizon

Once he did Claire suddenly asked a question regarding the sword that was stabbed unto the ground next to him

"Umm... Does this thing have a name?" She asked nicely

With that Claire became even more excited as sh approached the sword one more time and started carrassing it's form

At that time Ryuuji felt another presence closing in from behind him and without hesitation he took his sword and pulled it off the ground before pointing it behind him

However what met him was a red string the restrained all of his movements

"What the hell are you doing here?" Asked Greg

"Greg?!?! Aren't you supposed to be talking with the others?"

"Talking? Why would I do that? Chinese people are a know how people, they like to look like they know Everything, since that is the case why would I join them on the conversation if I know that they won't mind my thoughts at all?" Asked Greg

Soon after his sight wondered past Ryuuji and towards the little girl behind him

"What's this? Orphan? How can there be a child living outside the walls?" Asked Greg

"Surprised aren't you? Well so am I" replied Ryuuji

"This day is getting peculiar and peculiar" commented Greg as he puts his hands unto his chin and started to crouch down to Claire's level

"This kid isn't simple isn't she?" Asked Greg

Of course as Greg said that, he also took the time to glance towards Ryuuji, in reply however Ryuuji started to sigh as he said that Claire was also a user and her ability is quite unique and dangerous

"Unique and dangerous? Hahahaha! Try me"

With Greg's arrogant words, Ryuuji however started to smile

Soon after Claire once again demonstrated her ability to.control life and death which in the end made Greg stood up of his seat as he watched the scene in display

Of course naturally his mouth hangs open after finding out her ability

Such ability of course was too dangerous to wield since everyone's safety was based on the mood of that user, if must that power might also have an aspect to destroy everything

This of course made Greg smile wryly as he said

"Hahaha! This day is really driving me nuts" laughed Greg

After that he started to remember something that was being talked about back at the camp, it was all about retrieving something that was taken from one of the research institute in California

If his intuition was right then perhaps the Chinese might take the girl for themselves if they ever find out its power, so without further ado he started dialing on a number and talked for awhile with Head General Alex

Seeing Greg talking with the head General in a casual time even made Ryuuji admire such boldness of a person

"So you really are close to him"

With that Claire suddenly tugged at Ryuuji's clothes, naturally Ryuuji turned to her and asked what she wanted

"Ryuuji... Who is he?" Asked Claire

Of course naturally Claire was wary of Greg, so without further thinking Claire suddenly instinctually got closer to Ryuuji and hid behind him whole looking at the person he talking to

"Oh don't worry! This guy won't harm you, since this guy is good and strong so you have nothing to worry" assured Ryuuji

"Is that so?" Asked Claire before signing for a bit and calming herself down

As Ryuuji saw this he couldn't help. It twitch the corner of his mouth, but this all ended as he suddenly felt an intense killing intent directed towards him, of course Greg also noticed this presence so both of them stayed wary as they tried to find out the location where the killing intent is driving out

Soon as they search for it's source, the ground beneath them bursted out as chains started crawling up towards them, naturally Ryuuji saw this, so.without further any issue he raised up his sword to.meet the chains as he started to release hot fire around himself

As for Greg he suddenly weaved his strings around his arm as he gave such chains a punch, causing it to break apart

But due to that exchange Greg suddenly reversed engineered it and have located it's source

Pulling out his strong that was as hard as steel, Greg suddenly shot out four strings from his palm towards the building

With an explosion, it soon caught the other nearby user as they rushed towards their direction

Of course chains started attacking them, but Ryuuji himself easily destroyed them like tofu before glaring back at the silhoutte that was on top of that building

Gathering flames unto his sword, Ryuuji suddenly jumped up as he delivered a feiry flame slash towards the building causing it's whole top section to explode and crumble

But due to it's chain defense such attack was meaningless, with it soon after they made eye contact with each other which indicates that both Ryuuji and the person wielding these chains swore to kill the other
