Chapter 73: [Grouping Up]

[Airport, China]

Standing on the platform where planes were landing, both Greg and Ryuuji were keeping watch of their surroundings in order for them to notice anything strange that would happen

As few days have passed since Ryuuji had that call from Jinwoo in South Korea, today was the day that the team would unite once more

As they stood on the platform both Greg and Ryuuji were talking to each other to pass the time

"So tell me... Why are we standing in the platform where planes park in the first place?" Asks Ryuuji

"To get a better view on whether your so called friends came or not" said Greg

"Oh really?" Said Ryuuji in astonishment

Upon seeing that Greg's eyebrow suddenly twitched as he asked

"Aren't you worried that they'll ditch you?"

"Huh? Oh! Don't worry about that since I pretty much know who's in charge of the group currently" replied Ryuuji

"That's a lot of trust..." Gasped Greg

"Or more like lot of confidence" corrected Ryuuji

As they said that more or less, Ryuuji asked such following questions as he was bored and either needed information

"So is there any news regarding Undead and the kid he kidnap in California?"

Hearing that Greg suddenly pulled out something from his pocket as he took out a cigarette and lit of up

"Well there is... But... "

"But?"

"The professional group of Chinese people was sent to the previous spot where the battle was initiated, and from those ruins, they found out that there was an entrance leading to lab deep buried under the pieces of rubbles" said Greg

"So more or like a base?" sked Ryuuji

"Yeah more like a base or so, but either way they couldn't even find any documents inside nor both the kidnapper and the child he kidnap... It's like they disappeared" said Greg as he puff out a smoke

"Is that so? So that means the culprit had been busy, he already made plans to leave his current place since we've discovered his existence in such place" said Ryuuji

"It is as you said it" agreed Greg

After that Greg pulled out his cellular phone and typed some numbers on it as he made a call towards a person

"Mind if I..."

"Huh sure! Go ahead!" Replied Ryuuji nonchalantly

After that Greg used this time as he made an important call to someone while Ryuuji was left on standby

After some time Greg returned and nudged Ryuuji

"Hey! Don't you think those Chinese guys are sometimes selfish?" He asked

"And why is that?" Asked back Ryuuji

"Well the moment we reported such news to them, they immediately took us out of the case in some random bull** reason, it's like they wanted to take some credit on it... Is it their pride?" Asked Greg

"How would I know? Chinese are Chinese, Americans are Americans, Englishman are Englishman, Koreans are Koreans, and Japanese are Japanese... Even though we have the same race, why do you think people have a lot of sides and different countries?" Asked Ryuuji

"....."

Hearing no response he continued what he said

"I'm saying is that we are different from each other, we may have the same race but ideals always differs... Some becomes good, some becomes wicked, while some be ones corrupt... Such a thing is already embedded in the society of the humanity, it can't be erased by any force" said Ryuuji

After that he glanced at Greg who was a quite taller than he was with a fierce gaze

"We are different and there is a reason for that, just let them" he said

After hearing that coming out of Ryuuji's own mouth, Greg on the other hand was astounded

"Wow! I didn't know you could give such a speech" he said as he clapped his hands in amazement

From there place they could somehow see some Chinese people looking there way as if they were an eccentric people

As they waited Ryuuji then suddenly smiled, upon seeing that however Greg felt chills down his spine

"Hey! Stop that... It's creeping me out"

"Huh? Why? I'm just smiling" reasoned Ryuuji

"That's a smile if your plotting something, so tell me what's your real reason why your smiling?" Asked Greg

With that Ryuuji's smiled suddenly widened as he said

"Well since they took us out of the case regarding the Undead case even though the Head General had recommended us, then we are both free from the restraints that they gave us"

"Huh?"

"With my team here then I'll be able to move properly since I know my team is a reliable people, then after that we will overtake their progress and head straight for the enemy... Since"

"Since?" Asked Greg

"We have the power to rush up things" said Ryuuji with a smile

Upon seeing that cheeky smile, Greg however was stuck between laughing or having a diarrhea since this person named Ryuuji was going to cause trouble since he was freed of his restraints the moment the Chinese people took him out of the case

"We can't let them all have the glory now can we?"

Soon after he noticed an incoming plane flying down the platform through a private jet coming from the rented plane that came from the Sub-Headquarters from Grandora City

After landing carefully and stopping infront of them, some people started to come out of the planes door which made some Chinese people quite curious on who they were

Soon people came out as they made a comment

"Hello world I'm back home!" Exclaimed Ai

"Your too loud, don't scream" complained Jessica

"So this is China... Well this is my first time going here" said Isabelle

"I think it's the first form some of us" added Alice

"Hey come out now don't be shy" teased Jinwoo

"Who's shy? Huh? I'm not shy!!! Maybe your shy!" Roared Kanzaki

With that the whole crew was here as they landed on the ground

Soon after Kanzaki boldly said to Ryuuji after gaining some confidence on his skills by a bit

"Well let's make this a worthwhile since Jinwoo senpai was a lot of emotional when we left" he said

"That's right! That's right! He even cried when his parents cried about him leaving so soon after a long year of separation" teased Ai

"But don't worry he somehow sobered up and had a mood change when his ex-girlfriend came to meet him... Atleast they had a heartfelt talk before they left" added Jessica

"Wa!... You... You..." Said Jinwoo in a shock

I'm the other hand Ryuuji was more surprised by the news that he involuntarily looked at Jinwoo and asked

"You have a girlfriend?"

"Had! Correction had... Past tense" urged Jinwoo

"....."

Upon hearing that Ryuuji then shook his head as he gazed at Kanzaki and asked

"So how much can you control on that second eyes of yours?"

"The gold one? Well I think I can activate by some point if the requirements can be met"

"Such as?"

"Overwhelmed?..."

"You don't know..."

"Yes I don't know..."

Upon hearing that Ryuuji sighed as he waved it aside and said

"Well anyway lets get started since having gold eyes always doesn't mean that it's guaranteed that you'll be able to use it properly"

"....."

After that Ai, Jessica, and Isabelle approached Ryuuji as they looked at him

"For you guys... Did you bring your equipments? Since the Chinese would let us use theirs"

"Don't worry we have prepared thoroughly"

Upon hearing that a sigh of relief came out of Ryuuji as he said

"Alright let do this"

"What are planning on doing? Causing a trouble or something else?" Asked Jinwoo in pure curiosity

"Nope none of those, since the Chinese wanted to take the credit, then it's simple well overtake their progress"
