After putting down his equipment Argie then looked around as he saw a barren abandoned town all throughout the horizon of the land, currently they were hiding inside of some abandoned school building

Naturally both Argie and Claire arrived at this abandoned place somewhere situated in the Philippines, luckily there were no citizens around the area

After all he had left China after leaving some decoy sensors in Shanghai, unfortunately few days ago he lost contact to such sensors he created, thus concluding that someone must have destroyed them

He can conclude who such people were, but he is clearly wary of his former group which he left awhile ago

Unknown to him the Reaper's never intended to follow him, since he will be killed in his own momentum, compared to them who had stayed secret all this while, Argie A.K.A undead had been hot in the eyes of the organization causing him to be hunted all over the country

For them all they need to do was to wait till Argie was killed

On the other hand he was quite lucky this past few days, during his time in the Philippines he was able to hide for quite some time causing him to have a bit of success in reproducing both death energy liquid and life energy liquid through getting samples from Claire's blood

As life energy liquid replenish ones vitality and prolongs a person lifespan, death energy liquid however sucks all vitality of a person till he dried up and shortens ones lifespan

Additionally death energy liquid has some additional decay status that can work either on living things and non-living things, that's why such power was quite dangerous

Unfortunately for Argie, as a person with an aligned attribute to death the power of death energy liquid is quite beneficial to him, since the more people dies near his location, the more he becomes stronger

After arranging such tunes in his bag, Claire then saw all of this as she wonders  what they are used for

"What are those?"

Hearing that Argie replied

"Something that will be beneficial to me, luckily you are a very important source of it"

"Does that mean I'm useful?"

"For me you are quite useful..."

After that he approached her and said

"But for others, you are a danger, an anomaly, just wonder what they would do to a person who could easily play with their lives"

Hearing that Claire suddenly trembled as she imagined the scenarios she will end up if she was found by others

But instead of consolidating her, Argie continue to probed her fear

"People yearns for a longer life, they treasure such gifts, but people also fears those ability that could take their lives... they only needed one power so in terms, once they found you they could just extract your life energy"

"People fear the unknown, thats why they never won the war agaisnt the chaos beings"

"The way I see it, those monsters have never showed their fangs yet to us, instead their still hiding it"

"Yet humanity is already at the brink of extinction,  its just a matter of time, day by day waves of chaos beings attacks the outer wall of different shelters, some are at the brink of destruction, some on the other hand scan still hold it on"

"But once these monsters gets serious then it will be the end for all of us! Hahahahaha! Isn't that fun? Were never meant to win this war at all, all we can do is wait"

Seeing Argie's reaction, Claire then slowly came forward as she patted his hands as she asked

"Does that mean we will all die?"

"We are meant to die in one way or another and that is called fate"

With that Argie slowly stood up as he synthesize more formula on how to fully utilize the liquid he had created through the samples he had gathered

On the other hand Claire returned to the bed sheet that they found inside a certain clinic inside the school premises

Aside from that there are many types of variables that goes way out of Argie's expectation, but most of them were really concentrated towards Ryuuji, a user who had survived against him in a fight despite being beaten up

Whats more such a guy was already trying to master manifestation state in which could enhance his every being causing more problems for him, what's else even the retiree Greg a veteran user who was active in the exploration and rescue war operations in the past was back

Back then the situation outside was way dangerous that the current era they had, thus all he can say was that Greg was someone difficult to deal with especially with its profound combat skills and experience

Lastly the other variable that is hard to predict is the rookie user named Kanzaki who has an ability called foresight, unfortunately due to his foresight ability, predicting his every more is close to 0%, thus ranking his danger level in his list to the highest degree

With that in mind he then kept everything he simulated inside his brain to prepare for something unexpected to happen

After that he spent a few more hours just to create biologically and genetically enhanced undead chaos beings that he have encountered and collected in all his life

After all he is planning on using this creatures and release them out in the wild to cause havoc

He can't retreat now or anywhere else, infact this place was his last stand, since he is being search all over the world, thus giving him a hard time to hid his presence and now he is being pursued and targeted by the organization's head

Afyer completing his set, his detectors that he placed all over the entrances and various hidden places in San Francisco, suddenly alarmed him of people intruding in his territory, due to that he immediately guessed that the team that was assigned to pursue him had already caught wind of himself

Packing everything he'd had to make his last stand Argie then took his equipment and Claire as he fled from the school and proceed to an even secluded place

Seeing his panicking behavior Claire then curiously asked, seemingly recognized such expression

"Argie? They are here again aren't they? The one's that are hunting you"

Hearing that Argie then was stunned for a second before smiling towards Claire who was behind him

"Yup! Thats them"

With that she further asked

"Why can't both of you reconcile? After all you know something that they should be aware off"

"That can't be done" said Argie with a complicated look

"There can be negotiations between us, after all i killed multiple of their friends and families, possibly allies, thus were always gonna have a feud no matter where we met"

After that he pulled her closer as he said

"You on the other hand needs to get out of here, thus place is about to turn into a battlefield"
