Chapter 98: [Codename Undead IV]

In a thrice upon seeing Argie's complete monstrous transformation, which is somehow mixed with human and Chaos beings appearance, Ryuuji then held up his huge sword (Ifrit) across his body as he calls out towards Kanzaki who was not far away away from him

"Guard up! Never let go of your guard"

Upon hearing that Kanzaki then stance himself once more as he faced towards the transformed Argie

But when Kanzaki did just that, Argie on the other hand sprinted forward as he crashed towards Ryuuji while dragging him across the ground

With such speed both Ryuuji and Kanzaki himself was dumbstruck by the power and speed that Argie showed

One had to know that there is quite a distance in between the two sides, yet Argie was able to close that distance in just mere few milliseconds

Even both of them couldn't react in time from such an assault, thus only one word come up on Kanzaki's thoughts when that happened right before his eyes

"Fast!!! His too fast!!!"

As Argie was dragging Ryuuji's head across the ground, he didn't ofcourse forgotten about kanzaki as he sent his chains towards him and pulled him along with his speed

Since that happened in just a split second Kanzaki on the other hand was unable to dodge such a truck despite his ability already letting him foresee the trick that Argie did

With that he was pulled along with Argie's dash as he couldn't even get himself a stable footing

On the other hand Ryuuji finally got ahold of himself as held unto his sword (Ifrit) tightly before forcefully slashing it before him, of course he did all this while he was being dragged around across the ground

When Argie saw that in a split second, he then let go of his hold of Ryuuji ad he spun around to in mid air to dodge the latter's initial strike

After dodging he then arched up his back as he punched him straight to his gut, causing the ground beneath them to cave in from the force of his attack

Following that Argie then pulled unto his chains as he dragged Kanzaki towards him and gave him a kick on his back which was so strong that the latter almost felt his back breaking from that impact

In that moment both Ryuuji and Kanzaki then gasp in pain as both of them were struck by Argie's physical attack

In that slight demonstration they then knew that Argie had completely went beyond being a human and was infact much more dangerous than any creature nor people they've met

However while gritting his teeth in pain and enduring the shock from Argie's attack, Ryuuji was then the first one to react as orange and red flames burst out from his body, causing the former to take a huge leap backwards

Soon after flames then flooded the area as it collided agaisnt the mana and aura rising from Argie's body

As Kanzaki stumbled to the side while holding unto his pained back, Ryuuji on the other hand quickly stood up with bloodshot eyes and charged towards Argie while being engulfed in flames

Raising his sword (Ifrit) he then slashed down towards Argie, as the latter quickly held up a shield chain to fend off Ryuuji's attack

As two weapons collided flames and Argie's mana then spreads out towards the surroundings as the floor cave in beneath them

Following that inputting his weight unto his wrist Ryuuji then used that momentum to forcefully spin his body and deliver a sideswing in quick succession

On the other hand the chains around Argie suddenly strengthened itself as he  blocked Argie's oncoming attack

Following that he then pulled his left arm backwards before delivering a straight punch towards Ryuuji, unfortunately the latter noticed such actions as he quickly moved his body to block the attack

Seeing that both of their attacks was being blocked by their own opponent, both Ryuuji and Argie took their brawl up to another notch as they attacked each other in rapid succession

As Ryuuji kept slashing out his sword, Argie on the other hand kept punching out his fist, causing multiple shockwaves to erupt from their surroundings as they fight

In the midpoint of their battle, they even applied running, skipping  jumping, and feint attack in order to catch their opponent off guard, but no matter what they do, they just couldn't land a hit as their very attack was being countered

In the amidst of their battle Ryuuji steadily held up his sword (Ifrit) aligned to his face as he blocked Argie's chain enhanced kick, at first strike Ryuuji was once again dumbstruck by the strength by the latter's attack

But before he could counter attack after that initial blow, Argie on the other hand used him as a stable footing as he spun his whole body and deliver a second kick, causing Ryuuji to be blown off his feet and crash against the trees, while breaking some upon impact

Seeing the result of his attack, Argie couldn't help but show a greedy smile on his face as he exhilarated just by the fact that he wield such immense strength

In fact due to the syringe that he injected on his body, he was able to acquire strength beyond human comprehension, using that he had easily dealt with two users who had been relentlessly targeting him ever since their first encounter

Flipping in midair Argie then fixated his stance to the ground before launching himself towards Ryuuji's direction

Om the other hand while Ryuuji was blown away, he then forcefully flipped himself in midair before flipping his sword (ifrit) in a downward position thrusting it into the ground to serve as his anchor

Surely soon enough he then halted his descent as he quickly gathered his thoughts and held unto his sword (Ifrit) with both hands before slashing upward followed by his chain of flames trailing behind

At that moment Argie just arrived at the scene as he struck out his fist only to collide with Ryuuji's sword (Ifrit)

Using the momentum when he swung his sword (Ifrit), Ryuuji then quickly used such force to make a quick spin and deliver a side slash engulfed in flames

Seeing that quick counter, Argie then reacted in heist as he inserted his strength unto his legs and forced himself to jump away in time to dodge Ryuuji's initial attack, due to that the latter's attack actually missed the former by a hair's thread

After taking some distance Argie got up on all four as he revealed a smirk on his face

Due to that Ryuuji was further provoked into attacking as he held unto the hilt of his sword like a javelin and threw it towards Argie

Seeing that with a smirk Argie quickly got up straight as he catched Ryuuji's sword (Ifrit) in kid air while revealing a mocking grin

But before he could react in the next moment Ryuuji quickly ran up towards him as he kicked the hilt of his sword (Ifrit) to further get away from Argie's grasp and struck hard unto his chain armored chest

Due to that kind of maneuver Argie was then blasted off his feet as he stumbled across the ground before stopping when he crashed unto a huge rock

Picking up his sword Ryuuji charged in relentlessly as he was fully certained that he had to kill Argie at this very moment

Raising up his sword (Ifrit) Ryuuji then took a huge stride forward as he skipped past their distance in a mere few seconds

On the other hand in compliance towards Ryuuji's charge, Argie then conjured a gigantic chain arm in the air as he smashed it down infront of him

But before anything could happen Ryuuji on the other hand muttered one word

"Collapse!!!"
